Chapter 10
It was Cheng Mingliang.
He had been missing for a while.
Turns out he was hiding nearby.
In the darkness, he grabbed me tightly and ran forward frantically.
Through the grass, across the stream.
I didn’t know how long we ran until I couldn’t run anymore.
Only then did we stop.
Cheng Mingliang asked nervously, “Are you okay? You weren’t bitten, were you?”
“I’m fine, I was scared to death just now, Class Monitor, thank goodness for you.”
I breathed a sigh of relief.
Thinking about the situation of Little Fatty and Houzi, I hurriedly said, “Class Monitor, we need to find a way to save them.”
Upon hearing this, Cheng Mingliang sighed.
“She Jing, you’re really naive.”
“What do you mean?”
“Lin Xian, Little Fatty, and Houzi, they’re not good people. You want to save them, but they want to harm you.”
I blinked, “Class Monitor, I don’t understand what you mean.”
“Sigh, forget it, since they’re not here, I’ll tell you everything.”
With that, Cheng Mingliang sat down on a nearby patch of ground.
“Have you heard of Chen Han?”
I nodded, “You mean Lin Xian’s former desk mate? I heard she got sick and dropped out.”
Cheng Mingliang shook his head, his expression grave:
“She didn’t get sick, she died.”
“At first, Lin Xian pretended to like her, just like he does with you.”
“She was innocent and hadn’t been tempted much, so she quickly accepted Lin Xian’s confession.”
My heart tightened, and I hurriedly asked, “What happened then?”
“Then, during the winter break six months ago, Lin Xian used the excuse of taking her out to play and raped her.”
“Not just him, but also Little Fatty and Houzi.”
“They took naked photos and videos of Chen Han and threatened her not to report it, or they’d release them.”
“After suffering such severe trauma, Chen Han became mentally unstable and committed suicide a few days later.”
Cheng Mingliang said this.
I shivered in fear.
“Class Monitor, are you saying they’ll do the same to me?”
“Yes. They planned to act tonight, if it weren’t for those snakes suddenly appearing, you might have already been in trouble.”
After a moment of silence, I couldn’t help but ask him:
“If you knew they were like this, why didn’t you call the police? Why didn’t you warn me earlier?”
“Sigh, I only suspected, but had no evidence. I didn’t know you were dating Lin Xian beforehand. A few days ago, I heard they were going camping and asked if I could join. I just wanted to see if I could find evidence.”
Saying this, he glanced around: “It’s too late now, it’s dangerous, we should head down the mountain first.”
“Okay.”
With his support, we walked step by step outwards.
The mountain fog at night was thick, making it dizzying and hard to distinguish directions.
After walking for a long time, suddenly, I saw the familiar Hummer.
In the driver’s seat, Lin Xian was leaning back, smoking.
Beside the car, Little Fatty and Houzi, who had been wailing like ghosts earlier, stood there unharmed.
Seeing us, they looked at us like rabbits caught in a trap.
“Liangzi, had enough fun? Why took so long?”
