By the time I stepped out, the two of them were already at each other’s throats.

The male classmate, standing at 1.9 meters tall, was not short even by Country M standards. He worked out regularly, yet he couldn’t gain any advantage against Shen Yuxiu.

I rushed over and grabbed Shen Yuxiu. “Shen Yuxiu, what are you doing?”

His fist was suspended just a few centimeters above the male classmate, his gaze icy and murderous.

Finally, he let go of the male classmate’s collar and said nonchalantly, “He annoyed me.”

I was speechless. “Are you crazy?”

Married for just a short while and already losing his mind-how was Ming Rao holding up?

The other classmates were equally stunned by the scene. I had no choice but to apologize to them and usher them out.

Especially the well-meaning male classmate who had gone to open the door only to get caught in the crossfire. I offered him my sincerest apologies and even transferred him some money for medical expenses.

The male classmate accepted the money but looked at me with concern, advising, “You should really have your friend see a psychiatrist.”

Shen Yuxiu overheard this and lifted his head with a sinister expression. Unable to bear it any longer, I smacked him on the head and quickly responded, “Alright, I’ll make sure he does. Thanks for the suggestion.”

Now, only the two of us were left in the room.

“Shen Yuxiu, why aren’t you off on your honeymoon with Miss Ming? What are you doing here?”

“There’s no honeymoon. We called off the engagement.”

“Why?”

“Song Zhiwei, don’t play dumb. You know why.”

I frowned. “I don’t know.”

Shen Yuxiu didn’t answer. Instead, he tossed the seashell necklace at me. “Your second wish doesn’t count. Make another one. Song Zhiwei, this is your last chance. Any wish you want-I’ll make it happen.”

He stared at me intently, with an unexpected hint of nervousness. Even his breathing had grown heavier.

But my wish hadn’t changed. “I wish for Shen Yuxiu to return to the country and never come looking for me again.”
