Is My Broke Boyfriend Actually a Billionaire Heir? - Chapter 25
I have no idea how Julian Montgomery managed it.
But for the next three months of the journey, he really didn’t appear before me.
Only when he needed to return to the capital to handle work.
He would come to me and ask about my next destination.
I lied every time.
He believed me every time.
Yet he kept asking every time.
“He wouldn’t dare not to ask.”
Ryan Stone sat on the sofa in my room, holding a skewer, smiling helplessly.
Recently, the training institutions were under renovation, so there was a few days off.
He caught the nearest flight to the city where I was staying for my travels.
Arrived at dawn.
The takeout was ordered fresh.
“I found out something later.”
“Though I really don’t want to say it, but…”
Ryan Stone paused, lowered his gaze, and sighed:
“I can’t get past the moral hurdle.”
The beer can was slightly crushed.
Ryan Stone smiled bitterly:
“From the time we left the capital to the opening period.”
“The reason Julian Montgomery didn’t come looking for you.”
“Was because he knelt in front of his father’s door for four days, conceding.”
“He accepted all the conditions his father set for taming him.”
“The only request was not to stop him from pursuing you.”
“In this life, he only wants you.”
Almost immediately.
I remembered Julian Montgomery’s pale face.
And the persistent cough.
Probably… exhausted from working non-stop.
The room was silent for a few minutes.
Ryan Stone didn’t speak again.
I pursed my lips, rolled up the bag of barbecue on the coffee table.
Stood up:
“I’m going out to throw away the trash.”
“You should go back to your own room.”
Actually, there’s a trash can in the room.
I just didn’t want to hear Ryan Stone continue.
Ryan Stone understood this too.
So he didn’t stop me.
