Chapter 2
I was taken aback.
It turns out that besides smashing Ji Yuxuan’s computer, I had done something even worse to him.
“Brother, I didn’t…”
“Didn’t what! Do you want to send Yuxuan to the hospital again?”
Before I could finish my sentence, I was interrupted by the newcomer.
Yu Qianqian walked over and slapped my hand away.
“My brother’s matters have nothing to do with you.”
“I’m Yuxuan’s girlfriend, how could it not be my business? As for you, you’re just the Ji Family’s adopted daughter, always opposing Yuxuan.
“Yuxuan doesn’t hold it against you, but I won’t tolerate you.”
Bullet screens flashed by.
[What’s this vicious second female lead being so arrogant about? The male lead is just being considerate because she took care of him while he was in the hospital, not wanting to ask her to leave. And she calls herself his girlfriend?]
[The female lead used to misunderstand like this. She thought her brother and Qin Siyuan both liked Yu Qianqian and believed her brother disliked her.]
Ji Yuxuan’s expression was somber.
His gaze fell on my hand, which had turned red from the slap.
In the end, he didn’t say a word.
In the silence, the roar of an engine was heard.
A man with white hair walked over, arms around two women, one on each side.
“Yo, Young Master Ji, how come you brought two today?
“I’ve always said you should’ve done this sooner. We should all hang out together.
“The dignified heir of the Ji Family, always busy with competitions and modeling, pretending to be a top student.
“Chasing after an adopted daughter who doesn’t even look at you, why bother…”
Ji Yuxuan shouted sternly, “Shut up! Don’t talk nonsense about my sister!”
The white-haired man looked at me.
“So this is the sister, huh?
“Young Master Ji’s got skills. Got her so soon.
“What was that saying again, bad boys get the girls.”
“I told you to shut up!”
Ji Yuxuan’s fingers, hanging by his side, slightly curled, his knuckles turning white.
The white-haired man spread his hands, laughing indifferently:
“Alright, alright, won’t say anymore. Are we racing or not?”
Ji Yuxuan calmed his expression, “Of course, the usual rules.”
Suddenly, I realized.
This wasn’t Ji Yuxuan’s first time street racing.
After I repeatedly sabotaged his competition projects, he had transformed from a gentle top student into a campus bully who skipped classes.
“No more racing.”
I pulled down Ji Yuxuan’s hand.
“Brother, I’m still hungry. That food stall is about to move away. Let’s go one last time.”
Ji Yuxuan smiled bitterly.
“A week ago, you did everything you could to get me to have dinner with you, and then I ended up in the hospital for a stomach pump, missing the debate finals.
“Ji Yutong, I won’t trust you again.”
