Imprison Me? After Amnesia, You'll Kneel and Beg for My Favor! - Chapter 22
Epilogue (Extra)
In the diary Bo Min treasured, on the very last page, was a photo of Ji Yan.
A candid shot, her face not quite visible.
Bo Anzhi never had a habit of reading other people’s diaries.
But by chance, looking for a book, he happened to flip to that page.
On a strange impulse, he stared at it for a long time.
Later, on the day of the university’s anniversary celebration, on his way to find Bo Min, he happened to see him with the girl from the photo.
Long hair, dimples, bright eyes.
She was almost identical to the person in his dreams.
His heart skipped a beat.
He hid behind a tree, watching the interaction between the young man and woman.
An inexplicable anger burned within him.
It finally erupted when Bo Min introduced Ji Yan to the whole family.
A twenty-year-old boy, eager to announce his first love to the world.
His mother doted on her younger son, readily agreeing: “I’ve already accepted her as my daughter-in-law! Son, you have to go for it!”
But Bo Anzhi, always so cool and aloof, was strongly opposed.
His stance was firm, his tone resolute.
It was, needless to say, a surprise to everyone.
His mother sensed something was off and dropped hints, both subtle and direct, warning him not to let a woman ruin the harmony between brothers.
But only foolish little Bo Min was still clueless, pestering Bo Anzhi every day about how wonderful Ji Yan was.
Soon, Ji Yan graduated.
His foolish little brother strongly recommended her for a position at the Bo Corporation.
By then, Bo Anzhi was already the one in power at the company; even his father couldn’t control him.
And his foolish little brother had just gift-wrapped his crush and delivered her right to him.
Bo Anzhi feigned reluctance, but inwardly, he was ecstatic.
That very day, Ji Yan was assigned to the position of the CEO’s secretary.
Bo Anzhi had been pursued before.
But he had never pursued anyone.
He sent flowers and nearly scared her to tears.
He bought her jewelry, and she thought it was a severance package.
…
Meanwhile, at home, Bo Min was gearing up to make his move.
There was no more time. Bo Anzhi created a secret account and sent all his dark, twisted thoughts to Ji Yan.
From behind a one-way mirror, he admired her panic, her helplessness.
Like a little lamb about to be slaughtered.
Completely unaware of who the real big bad wolf was.
When the time was right, the wolf donned the disguise of an angel and descended.
He successfully lured the little lamb to the slaughterhouse.
But what the big bad wolf never expected was this:
A little lamb can pull out a wolf’s fangs, one by one.
And what is a wolf without its fangs?
A dog, of course.
A dog that belonged to Ji Yan and Ji Yan alone.
A dog so emotionally manipulated by Ji Yan that he became insecure, needy, and full of self-doubt.
A dog that could never, ever leave her side…
