Chapter 2
His eyes were rimmed with red.
His skin was already fair to begin with.
Now, he looked like a little rabbit that had been bullied.
Pathetic.
But undeniably beautiful.
“How could this be me? You’re tricking me, you’re tricking me again!”
“Waaah, while I admit you are cute, and quite captivating, I don’t believe it would be enough to make me fall into such depravity.”
“Say something! You must have forced me to do this!”
I closed my eyes.
And just listened to the bellowing.
Anyone who didn’t know better would think a kettle had just come to a boil.
Ten minutes later.
Bo Anzhi seemed to have accepted his reality.
He started rambling again, all on his own.
“Hah, I get it now. These records are obviously fake.”
“You’ve put all your effort into figuring out how to stay by my side, haven’t you?”
“I’m not that kind of man. My chastity is my finest dowry. I hope you have the decency to recognize that.”
“What’s the difference between this behavior and harassing a wild duck on the street?”
“Waaah, I’m not some wild duck!”
For God’s sake.
Could he be any more annoying?
I hadn’t eaten a single meal since he was hauled away in that ambulance.
I couldn’t take it anymore. I slapped him across the face.
Instantly, a bright red handprint appeared on his cheek.
My palm tingled.
My heart felt cold.
I might have used a little too much force.
Putting on a brave face, I ordered, “I’m starving. Go make dinner.”
Bo Anzhi silently wiped away his tears.
Then he nodded, looking utterly wronged.
“Oh.”
He tied on an apron and, with practiced ease, scurried into the kitchen.
