Chapter 76
This could be said to be the best year the little ghosts have had in decades. No need to queue for leftovers, no fighting over a few scraps of paper money, and no bullying from the Big Ghosts. Fragrant pork, chicken, duck, and goose were laid out before them to eat freely, bottles of Erguotou to drink at will, beautiful clothes to choose from, and even red envelopes with bonuses to receive. After eating, drinking, and playing, they could stay in a luxurious Riverside Villa…
What kind of divine life is this?
They never dreamed there would be such a day!
For a moment, the little ghosts went wild, unable to suppress their excitement, they howled loudly, raising their heads to the sky. This howling prompted other little ghosts to join in, the howling echoed, startling the stray cats and dogs around, causing them to flee in panic. Some house dogs squatted by the windows barking towards the river, annoying their owners who glanced towards the river. People say cats and dogs are spiritual and can see things invisible to humans, thinking this made them shiver and drag their dogs back inside.
Xiao Wang also felt unusually cold around him, hugging himself as he jumped in place a few times. He couldn’t stand his family’s superstitious grandfather and grandson, nor the two old Taoists who treated superstition as their career. And then there were those two naive youngsters nearby, brainwashed by someone, harmed by superstition at such a young age.
But what could he say? Nothing, really. These three groups were all devout; if he said anything more, he might end up bald from their plucking.
Xiao Wang could only avoid seeing, retreating to a sheltered spot to smoke-he dared not abandon the grandfather and grandson like last time, or he’d get beaten by the mother-daughter duo at home-better to watch the construction than their endless worship.
Since the unfinished building resumed construction, it was lively with the sounds of hammering every day, people coming and going, seemingly forgetting the ghost incident. Of course, the ghost was just a rumor, mere hearsay, where would there be ghosts? Only fools would believe it.
Thinking of the two fools at home, he smiled helplessly, glancing up in a daze, seemingly seeing a strange shadow. The shadow was pitch black, long hair fluttering, a face pale and fierce, drifting by like the wind. He blinked, focused, but saw nothing.
Xiao Wang stood dumbfounded, rubbing his eyes, he was nearsighted and hadn’t worn glasses today, must be seeing things. He patted his head and sighed, influenced too much by his family, even having hallucinations!
Gu Feiyin rushed over, smelling the fragrant wax paper money and chicken, duck, fish meat from afar. The aroma was rich and mouthwatering, like Sweet Crispy Duck? The scent was sweet, naturally excellent, especially the duck leg, crispy skin, tender meat, and chewy!
So fragrant, hope it’s not all snatched away?
Gu Feiyin once again appreciated the perks of being a ghost, wishing she had eight legs to rush over immediately.
The Old Lady and Neighbor Miss had arrived long ago, forgetting the Long Black Straight Hair, squatting before Tao Lizhi’s treasure boxes, their gray eyes showing rare joy, looking expectant.
Unfortunately, Tao Lizhi couldn’t see them, or he’d be thrilled.
Ghost Lady, arms crossed, said reservedly, “You know these two? They’re here to give you gifts? Do you sell these clothes? I’d like to buy a couple to wear.”
Neighbor Miss and Old Lady turned to her, lowering their chins without speaking.
Ghost Lady: “…?”
Neighbor Miss: “…”
Old Lady: “…”
Ghost Lady: “…??”
Ghost Lady understood, they were poor ghosts like Long Black Straight Hair, fond of money, she gestured, “Xiao Xi, bring the money.”
Ghost maid Xiao Xi immediately took out a stack of money, smiling stiffly, “Madam, for you.”
Neighbor Miss and Old Lady eyed the money, thinking if Long Black Straight Hair could spare two sets of clothes, one to wear and one to sell for some money, that’d be nice, hehe.
While the clothing transaction proceeded, Zhang Daoist and Minister Li could hardly watch, whispering, “Indeed, women, dead or alive, love pretty things. Those two youngsters are really cunning, buying pretty things to please.”
Minister Li thought, nodded, “Next time we should prepare some too.”
Zhang Daoist’s mouth twitched, looking at Minister Li, who was serious and earnest, as if he hadn’t suggested pleasing ghosts.
Everyone knew Minister Li was never this polite to ghosts before, believing them to be dangerous, best controlled by the Underworld. Any ghost in his grasp couldn’t escape, he showed no mercy. But since the Dalong Mountain incident, since meeting Master Gu, many things changed silently.
For instance, the ghosts they deemed most dangerous and eerie became heroes who saved countless lives, fighting desperately on the front lines, nearly exhausting their Soul Power. Though few knew what they did, it was top secret, perhaps never to be disclosed for decades or centuries…
Minister Li felt a twitch in his eye under Zhang Daoist’s gaze and retorted, “I might not be able to handle other things, but getting two sets of nice clothes? That I can manage.”
Zhang Daoist couldn’t help but chuckle, agreeing that he could chip in a little with his private stash, but not much more. Minister Li scoffed, as if anyone had a lot of private money, implying he certainly didn’t.
Zhang Daoist glanced over at the grandfather and grandson duo nearby. The child was dutifully squatting on the ground, burning paper money. Despite the strong winds, there wasn’t a breeze around him, and his chubby little face was flushed red from the fire, mumbling and stammering as he spoke, occasionally spitting as he talked too much.
In front of the child squatted several little ghosts, despite their ragged and outdated clothes, missing limbs, and chaotic appearances, they were all shielding him from the wind.
Zhang Daoist realized deeply that the pressure from the competitors on both sides was quite significant. If they weren’t careful, they’d be outdone. If their Special Unit was surpassed by a few ordinary people, how would that look?
As he pondered, Master Gu finally arrived. She ran over, her long black hair flying in the air, her cold eyes darting around. Upon seeing the ground filled with offerings of chicken, duck, fish, incense, and paper money, her dark eyes gleamed with a frightening brightness, her greedy and eerie demeanor suggesting she was coveting something…
Both Zhang Daoist and Minister Li were taken aback, not to mention Old Man Wang and his little grandson. The child squatted on the ground, looking up at Sister Long Hair with his mouth agape.
Tao Lizhi was even more startled, his eyes lighting up as he excitedly tugged at Bi Heng, exclaiming that she had indeed arrived!
Bi Heng, of course, saw the Long-haired Woman too. Watching her approach, her cold aura remained unchanged, though her walk was less stiff, not quite like a Jiangshi anymore. Yet her eerie eyes rolling around still sent chills down one’s spine.
The arrival of the Long-haired Woman excited even the little ghosts, who clamored for the landlord to come eat, claiming it was delicious.
Her pace quickened, and as she neared, she asked with a sinister expression, “Is there any Sweet Crispy Duck left?”
Uh…
Everyone: “…”
They were stunned for a moment before realizing, Sweet Crispy Duck? They quickly searched their baskets. Zhang Daoist slapped his thigh-no Sweet Crispy Duck! Tao Lizhi sighed in frustration; he hadn’t bought any either! Do ghosts like Sweet Crispy Duck too?
Old Man Wang was quite pleased, certain there was some. The child looked up at Sister Long Hair, excitedly pulling out a duck from his basket and offering it to the Long-haired Woman, “Yes, yes, sister, sister, here’s a duck for you! It’s delicious!”
It was a large, plump, sweet, and crispy duck. Her eyes brightened even more as she took it with one hand, opened her mouth wide, tore off a piece of lean duck meat, and chewed. Her eyes lit up, exclaiming how delicious it was!
Old Man Wang patted his grandson’s head with a chuckle. A few meters away, Zhang Daoist and Minister Li exchanged a glance, stomping their feet in frustration-they hadn’t prepared any Sweet Crispy Duck! Tao Lizhi and Bi Heng couldn’t help but think more about it, regretting not having prepared a few ducks among their clothes, jewelry, and other items.
Old Man Wang said, “I have a few more, if there’s not enough to eat!”
Yes, Sweet Crispy Duck, delicious!
The humans present all turned to look at the proud Old Grandpa, feeling as if his tail was about to wag into the sky.
Tsk. ╭(╯^╰)╮
…
Gu Feiyin, holding the duck neck, walked over to Zhang Daoist and Minister Li, munching as she went. She saw several little ghosts squatting in front of them, eating meat and drinking wine, creating quite a lively scene.
Zhang Daoist and Minister Li glanced at the duck in her hand, whispering that these were gifts from the Special Unit to thank the little ghosts for their help in rescuing disaster victims. They also wanted to thank her, as Gu Feiyin was the initial instigator of this matter. The Special Unit had prepared a bonus for her, and even the reward for the artifacts she had previously donated had come through.
Gu Feiyin’s eyes lit up, excitedly taking a few more bites of the duck.
Zhang Daoist also mentioned that Hao-Ge and his group had been sent to the Underworld. Due to their efforts during the earthquake, the Underworld would likely record some merit for them, possibly reducing their sentence by a few years. However, this was beyond their jurisdiction. The Underworld had its own rules and regulations, and everything was recorded in the Merit-Sin Ledger, leaving no room for escape.
Gu Feiyin couldn’t care less about what happened to the little ghosts. After all, she had already taken over Hao-Ge’s pit, sold off Hao-Ge and his group, and pocketed the money. She wasn’t interested in anything else.
Additionally, Ge Hong had been taken away by headquarters. Once the Fortune-Borrowing Ghost was brought back for confrontation, and Ge Hong’s crimes were confirmed, he wouldn’t be able to harm anyone again.
Gu Feiyin acknowledged this, as it was of interest to her: “The money from the Fortune-Borrowing Ghost is separate.”
Zhang Daoist: “…”
Yes, yes, of course.
After discussing everything, Gu Feiyin, still holding the duck neck, went over to Tao Lizhi. Tao Lizhi was thrilled, “Sister, sister, look at all the beautiful clothes I brought for you!”
Wow, those brand-new clothes were indeed beautiful! And not just clothes, but matching handbags, shoes, and jewelry, all neatly arranged in sets, looking absolutely stunning. No wonder the place was surrounded by female ghosts, with even the Middle-aged Female Ghost’s eyes gleaming fiercely. The Ghost Lady, not to be outdone, had brought her maids out to wait.
Not to mention the Middle-aged Female Ghost- even the woman in red ghost, who usually disdained everything, was now twitching her whip, itching to make a move. After all, loving beauty is a woman’s nature. Besides Long Black Straight Hair, who wouldn’t want to dress up beautifully?
So many new clothes-after Gu Feiyin’s death, she could probably change into a new set every fifteen or sixteen years. That would be enough for hundreds or even thousands of years, saving her from aesthetic fatigue.
Bi Heng stared steadily at the Long-haired Woman, especially remembering her chipped tooth vividly. He had once doubted if it was really her, but now there was no doubt. He couldn’t help but say, “Miss Gu, hello, do you remember me?”
Gu Feiyin moved her gaze away from the boxes of beautiful clothes, only then noticing that there was another person standing beside Tao Lizhi-he looked familiar. Thinking back, wasn’t this the first human she met after descending the mountain? The kind soul who gave her a ride and over a thousand yuan-Good Guy Bi Heng?
What a fateful encounter! How could she not remember? Excited, she gulped down a mouthful of Sweet Crispy Duck. Her pitch-black eyes seemed to glow red as she stared at him, grinning to reveal her broken tooth. The sky was just beginning to lighten, a chilly wind blowing, sending her long hair flying wildly, making her look even more terrifying. “What a coincidence! I didn’t expect we’d meet again, hehe.”
Bi Heng nodded, helplessly thinking: How has this Miss Gu managed to survive in the human world for so long and still be so ghostly? Even his cousin was convinced she was a ghost: “Yes, thank you for saving my cousin and uncle.”
“You’re welcome, hehe.”
“……”
Tao Lizhi was dumbfounded for a while, looking at Sister Long Hair, then at his cousin. How did he not know his cousin also knew Sister Long Hair?!
Bi Heng glanced at Tao Lizhi, then turned his head, saying nothing. It wasn’t that he didn’t want to speak, but… who could have imagined this dummy had met Gu Feiyin so many times and still thought she was a ghost? Though he had made the same mistake before, at least he’d realized it by now.
He wanted to see when this dummy would finally realize the person in front of him wasn’t a ghost, but a human.
He really didn’t want to say anything more.
Later, when Tao Lizhi chased after him, asking why he knew Sister Long Hair, he just muddled through, saying he’d encountered a Ghost Wall while driving at night and was luckily saved by Miss Gu. They separated after arriving in City A, and this was only their second meeting, because of Tao Dad’s accident.
Tao Lizhi was shocked, saying, “Our family’s fate with Sis Gu is so strong! That means she’s saved our whole family! We really have to thank her properly!”
Bi Heng smiled and nodded. Indeed, if not for her, who knew what would have become of their family? That Fortune-Borrowing Ghost was so vicious, perhaps their family would have been shattered. They really owed her a great debt.
……
The chicken, duck, fish, and meat were all divided and eaten. The Erguotou was nearly finished. The gold, silver, jewelry, and beautiful clothes were all either distributed or sold. Even the bonus was split, with every little ghost receiving a thick stack-no matter how you counted, each got over ten thousand, the savings from many years.
The Water Ghost hid in the river blowing bubbles. Luckily, he got a few chicken butts and a red envelope with tens of thousands. Silently wiping his blood-tears, he stashed the money at the river bottom, weighing it down with mud and stones, fuming with anger. If the chicken butts tasted this good, how delicious must the chicken itself be? And he hadn’t even gotten a bite!
He could only hope a powerful Big Ghost would come to deal with them, best if Long Black Straight Hair got beaten until she cried for her parents and even her mother didn’t recognize her. Just the thought made him giddy with joy.
Over at the overpass Ghost House, things were bustling; but over at Liao Yuan the old monk’s place, it was miserable. He waited and waited, finally until things in the disaster area settled down, and until Jingxing was ready with his pack to set off with him. Then Zhen Du said he would continue north, and since they were headed the same way, they’d travel together-for company and safety on the road.
Liao Yuan didn’t care-he just wanted to find Sis Gu as soon as possible. Who cared who traveled with him?
But who would have thought Zhen Du could be so unlucky? No sooner had they set out than he fell flat on his face, the bump on his forehead barely gone before his hand was fractured in another fall. After a whole ordeal at the hospital, half the day was gone. Fortunately, Zhen Du was resilient; after bandaging his injuries, he continued with them.
The distance from Baiyu Town to City A was considerable. They were so poor, they couldn’t afford a plane-each ticket cost over a thousand, and for three people, that was over three thousand. So they settled for the train. For three, it was less than a thousand, leaving enough to buy some buns for the road-more than enough.
But Liao Yuan never imagined: Even after boarding, the high-speed train would malfunction!
First, someone hid in the restroom to smoke, causing an emergency stop. Once they got going again, there was another malfunction, and they were told to wait patiently. They were supposed to arrive in the afternoon, but now, deep into the night, they were still stuck halfway.
Had they offended the gods?!
Though he was a sturdy old man, even he couldn’t stand such torment!
“Zhen Du, tell me your birth date and time-I’ll do a divination for you.”
Zhen Du smiled cheerfully, not at all affected by the exhausting day. “I don’t even know. My Shifu picked me up from a garbage heap. Shifu said my fate carries disaster, so my life would be harder than most.”
Harder than most was putting it mildly.
Zhen Du said gratefully, “Thank you both for your concern, but I’m fine. I’ve been used to this all my life-can’t die that easily.”
Liao Yuan: “……”
Jingxing: “……”
Sighing, they gazed at the vast night out the window, not knowing if they would ever make it to City A.
……
Zhang Daoist transferred two million to Gu Feiyin. As soon as the money landed in her account, she felt a stomachache. She gritted her teeth, bearing both a stomachache and heartache, and transferred one million nine hundred and ninety thousand back, asking Zhang Daoist to donate it to the disaster area victims on her behalf. The gesture shocked Zhang Daoist to his very soul, moving him nearly to tears. He kept saying, “Master Gu, you truly are a good person! But you really don’t need to donate so much. I’m still renting and struggling to get by. Even if you want to donate, it doesn’t have to be this much-a token amount is enough.”
Besides, Master Gu has saved so many people! That’s worth far more than this one million plus!
The more Zhang Daoist said, the more Gu Feiyin’s heart ached. She could only hang up the phone with resentment, then lay in her coffin muttering curses at Goddamn Heaven all day long. If she ever got the chance, she swore she’d drag Goddamn Heaven out and beat him so badly even his own mother wouldn’t recognize him.
“Boom-”
A clap of thunder crashed down from the sky, as if it was splitting souls in two. The tourists walking through the haunted house screamed in terror, tumbling over each other to escape, tears streaming down their faces as they sobbed uncontrollably.
This haunted house was so eerie and terrifying. The chill seemed to seep straight out from the depths of the soul-there really was a ghost living inside!
If only they could find a Taoist to exorcise the ghost…
Gu Feiyin’s performance that day was, as always, the best in the business-no question.
However, when she returned home that night, she didn’t see the Neighbor Miss wandering on her ceiling, nor did she see the Old Lady sweeping with her broom. After putting on their new clothes, those two were overjoyed, so excited they hadn’t slept a wink the night before, just fussing with their new outfits. They were surely out showing off somewhere now.
She didn’t think much of it. She was planning to go to the riverside and have the Water Ghost fetch some fish and shrimp. That one million plus had vanished just like that, and she couldn’t bear to spend any more money. She decided not to buy groceries for the next few months-if possible, she’d have the Water Ghost go to the sea and get some seaweed, kelp, sea cabbage, and nori. That would count as vegetables; she could stew them with pig’s feet and ribs.
But she had only just stepped out when the woman in red ghost came swinging her long whip toward her, rushing over in a panic: “Something bad has happened! Your Jumping Sister’s corpse has been dug up!”
…What? Someone actually dug up Jumping Sister’s grave? That’s outrageous! Grave robbing is like wiping out a whole family-this was a hatred that could never be reconciled!
She knew firsthand the pain of having her grave dug up, and now she was even more indignant: “Let’s go have a look!”
But things turned out a bit differently than Gu Feiyin imagined. Jumping Sister’s grave hadn’t been dug up-the body had been found, but it was under the unfinished building, in the underground garage. Her corpse had been sealed inside a cement wall. During a second round of construction, with the blueprints changed, the wall-originally meant to be left untouched-was now being demolished and rebuilt, and they had knocked a corpse out from inside.
The construction team was stunned, especially the boss and the Foreman. They had finally overcome their fear of ghosts, spent tens of thousands hiring people to drive the ghosts away, and redesigned the blueprints-all to make money! After investing so much, they couldn’t afford a loss!
And now, after all these twists and turns-first ghosts, now a corpse. Was Goddamn Heaven really not going to let them live?
News of the corpse found in the unfinished building shocked all of Fumin Road. Many neighbors came to watch the spectacle. Old Man Wang, of course, was among them, craning his neck to squeeze to the front, eager to see what the dead person looked like. Was it one of the wandering spirits who had saved him and his grandson? After all, they used to live here.
Unfortunately, the police had arrived even earlier. Not only had they cordoned off the scene, but the body was covered, making it impossible to get a good look. Old Man Wang was beside himself with anxiety.
Gu Feiyin arrived even later, so there was no way she could see it either. But from a distance, she caught sight of Jumpy floating in mid-air. She was wearing a dazzling, beautiful outfit, and together with the equally well-dressed Old Lady, Middle-aged Female Ghost, Ghost Lady, and ghost maids, they formed the brightest scene in the sky-they really did look gorgeous. Gu Feiyin couldn’t help but envy them, wondering when she’d get to wear such clothes herself.
Each of them kept their chin down, faces pale and shadowy, gnawing on candles.
As they gnawed, they muttered, “How did you end up hidden here? What a miserable death! Who could have done this?”
Ghost Lady said, “Why didn’t you tell us earlier? If you had, we could have asked Long Black Straight Hair to fish your body out and bury it somewhere nice. At least then you’d have a proper grave.”
Middle-aged Female Ghost replied, “Madam, you’re wrong there. This place is key evidence for catching the culprit. We can’t touch it. If Jumpy had told us earlier, we could have called the police. Doesn’t Long Black Straight Hair have connections at the station? Let her report it officially. We can’t just let the murderer run free.”
Xiao Xi gave a sinister smile, “Exactly. First find the culprit, then make him pay.”
“Don’t! If you get involved in karma, you’ll end up in the Underworld frying in oil for two years. If you ask me, scum like that who kill people will get the death penalty anyway. Once he’s dead, we’ll catch his soul, just like with Long Black Straight Hair, and chop off his limbs, mouth, and nose, hang them on the bridge, let him endure wind and rain every day, unable to live or die.”
“Great! Long Black Straight Hair’s trick is truly vicious-we’ll do the same!”
The group of female ghosts discussed it, getting more and more excited, wishing they could drag the killer out and whip his corpse right now to vent their rage.
“Jumpy, say something?”
Neighbor Miss gnawed on her candle, glanced at the ground, her pale, shadowy face full of gloom.
…
The police station next to Fumin Road was in an uproar because they found several relevant documents on the deceased, especially an ID card that could prove the person’s identity. Once the information was pulled up, Jiang Tian couldn’t stay calm.
Because the deceased looked very familiar. Wasn’t she the female ghost who haunted the police station before, the one who had her head embedded in the ceiling, swaying back and forth?
He looked back and forth several times, confirming again and again, and even pulled the Captain and a few colleagues who had seen the ghost with him to take a look. After they saw it, their eyes were filled with astonishment and shock. There was no doubt about it, it was indeed the same one, he wasn’t seeing things.
Jiang Tian said, “I’ll go find Master Gu. If I find Master Gu, I should be able to find… her.”
The Captain pondered, “Then I’ll go with you.”
As long as they found the person involved, they could find the culprit faster.
When Jiang Tian and the Captain went to find Gu Feiyin, Gu Feiyin was at home. Her small home was filled with little ghosts, and the one they surrounded was Jumpy, who was floating on the ceiling. They chattered incessantly, stuffing her with various things to comfort her, talking about revenge one moment and telling her not to be angry the next, saying everything that should and shouldn’t be said.
Moreover, the bonuses and thank-you gifts received in recent days were quite a lot. Every household’s wallet had more savings, not to mention some leftover supplies like candles, all sent by the Special Unit as snacks. They brought over several boxes, and each little ghost got a big bag, all being cautious with their food, knowing it could last them quite a few days.
Now they were willing to take them out to comfort Jumpy. The gifts were so many that Jumpy couldn’t hang on the ceiling anymore and sat directly on the floor, surrounded by a circle of candles.
Gu Feiyin looked at Jumpy and felt quite sorry for her. No wonder she was so angry when she borrowed a coffin from her before; it turned out she didn’t even have a pit to call her own, even more pitiful than herself. Oh well, in the future, she could lend her coffin to Jumpy to stay in, since she couldn’t sleep in a bed now anyway. To comfort her, she even pulled a leg off the window for Jumpy.
When Jiang Tian and the Captain arrived, as soon as they stepped into Master Gu’s home, they couldn’t help but shiver, shrinking their necks. They had one feeling: cold!
They couldn’t help but look around the room. The place was empty, clearly with nothing inside, yet they felt there should be more than just Master Gu here. At this moment, Master Gu was grinning with her gapped teeth, her face shadowed as she stared at them with a creepy smile, saying, “I was just about to find you, didn’t expect you to come, hehe.”
Jiang Tian: “…”
Captain: “…”
Why did they have the illusion of stepping into a den of thieves, never to return?
That was because they didn’t know that the moment they entered, the little ghosts surrounding Jumpy floated over to encircle them, each stretching their necks long, eager to put their eyes and mouths right in front of them, chattering incessantly.
“Did you catch the culprit?”
“Are you here to ask our landlord about Jumpy?”
“Sigh, the one who killed Jumpy must be a bad person. You must find that culprit quickly! Don’t let him get away with it!”
“…”
“…”
No wonder the Captain and Jiang Tian only felt the surrounding getting colder.
Gu Feiyin looked at the brainless little ghosts in the room and felt troubled. These police officers were officials, after all. What could they ask with these faces staring at them? They had to show some respect first, so she quickly waved her hand and said, “Make way, make way, let the police officers sit down and have a drink first.”
Oh, the little ghosts realized they should indeed sit down first. It’s easier to talk when seated.
So the little ghosts quickly spread out, even dragging out chairs and benches, signaling them to sit down quickly!
Gu Feiyin also smiled warmly, “Please, have a seat.”
Jiang Tian: “…”
Captain: “…”
The two felt their scalps tingling, sitting down under these overly eager, somewhat eerie smiles.
Meanwhile, the ghost maid Xiao Xi, having seen much of the world with the Ghost Lady, was well-versed in hospitality. She went to the kitchen and brought out two cups of hot water. She originally wanted to make tea, but tea leaves were a luxury for Long Black Straight Hair, which they certainly didn’t have, so she could only serve plain hot water. She even thought of bringing some fruit, but of course, Long Black Straight Hair didn’t have any. Truly, it was so poor that even ghosts feared it, not to mention the water was served in large bowls!
Jiang Tian and the Captain watched as two large bowls floated out of the kitchen, not a drop spilled, placed steadily in front of them.
Jiang Tian: “…”
Captain: “…”
…The two exchanged glances, so were they now being properly entertained by a few ghosts???
