Chapter 33
Even though it had been several days since the ghostly encounter at the theater, Gao Cai still saw the image of the Long-haired Woman stuffing the Malevolent Ghost into her mouth every time he closed his eyes. In the dead of night, he could still hear the crisp crunching sounds, again and again…
That night’s memories repeatedly haunted his dreams, disturbing his sleep. He had even seen a psychologist, hoping to move past those terrifying memories.
Previously, he had thought the eerie Long-haired Woman was a ghost too, except that she didn’t eat people and still retained some humanity, a good ghost, which was why they had survived that night. However, his entire perception was shaken when he saw a segment of “Winner Takes All” featuring a haunted house. The ghost actor in the footage strangely overlapped with the Long-haired Woman – even their walking styles and the sinister air they projected were strikingly similar.
Could she actually be a staff member of the haunted house? He found it unbelievable.
Eager for confirmation, Gao Cai had his agent contact the “Winner Takes All” crew and obtained the haunted house manager’s phone number. Concerned about unwanted rumors, media attention, or drawing the notice of the Special Unit, Gao Cai, who was previously a skeptic of supernatural events, had his worldview completely overturned after that night. Fearing he might cause her trouble, he used the cover of the “Winner Takes All” crew to contact the haunted house manager.
He had intended to contact Gu Feiyin directly – he had heard the Long-haired Woman was called Gu Feiyin – but since she didn’t have a mobile phone, he could only arrange a meeting through the haunted house manager. They had agreed to meet at the amusement park gate after work, but a dinner plan had pushed their meeting to the next day.
Gao Cai was not usually an impatient man. Those who couldn’t keep their cool didn’t last long in the entertainment industry. However, this time, he was quite eager. If he couldn’t resolve his doubts, he feared he would continue to suffer from insomnia.
So, although the meeting was postponed to the following day, he didn’t rush off but instead followed them to a hot pot restaurant.
He hoped she could spare some time to meet him after their meal.
His assistant didn’t understand why Gao Cai was so fixated. It was just a minor ghost house actor, after all. Why take it so seriously? Even though they had agreed to meet the next day, he still wasn’t willing to give up. This little actor really held her ground. If it were someone else, being invited by the “Winner Takes All” crew would have them jumping for joy.
“Boss, this Miss Gu really has some ideas. Truly worthy of being a woman who can lie in a coffin.”
Gao Cai glanced back at his assistant and said, “Shut up, don’t spout nonsense. If you can’t manage that, you don’t need to follow me anymore. There’s nothing else today. You can take a cab home.”
Assistant: “…”
After sending his assistant away, Gao Cai was left alone outside the hot pot restaurant for over two hours.
…
Gu Feiyin had enjoyed her meal so much that she felt both her body and heart were conquered. She was tempted to stay in the restaurant and switch jobs, surrounded by hot pot every day. However, she remembered the hardships she had endured to secure her current stable job, where she earned money easily every day, and her kind boss who treated her to hot pot. It was really hard to give up.
Besides, her leg was still lame, which made her unsuitable for running around the restaurant. She decided to temporarily list working at a hot pot restaurant as one of her future jobs, considering… one never knows when they might be unemployed again, as fate seemed to enjoy making her life difficult.
Her kind boss watched Gu Feiyin eat from the beginning to the end, and he even seemed to see a hint of reluctance on his usually grim face.
“Are you full?” he asked.
“Yes,” Gu Feiyin replied contentedly. “I didn’t expect hot pot to be so delicious.”
“Have you never had hot pot before?” her boss asked curiously.
She shook her head. “This is my first time. It’s really good! Thank you, boss. I’ll work even harder!”
Her boss felt a bit sorry for her, wondering which mountain she had come from. She was not only barely educated but had never even experienced hot pot before.
As they left the restaurant, Gu Feiyin still felt reluctant, but she was too full to eat more. She wondered when she would have the chance to enjoy such delicious hot pot again, considering its high cost. Maybe she would wait a couple of years before having it again, unless her kind boss invited her once more.
The hot pot restaurant’s owner sighed as he saw off the group. Business wasn’t very good that night; usually, the place would be packed, but today there were only a few tables occupied.
The group stood outside the hot pot restaurant, preparing to take taxis home. Most of them were heading in the same direction, so they decided to share a cab. As they were making arrangements, the boss asked Gu Feiyin, “Xiao Gu, how are you getting home?”
“I plan to walk back,” she chuckled.
“Really? How long will that take?” the boss inquired.
“Not too long, just an hour.”
Everyone else: “…”
The boss felt a bit speechless. Such a frugal girl was rare indeed. “That’s too far, and it’s also very late. It’s not safe for a young lady like you. I’ll call you a taxi.”
Taking a taxi seemed too extravagant to her, and from what she could tell, her unfinished building was quite far from here. A taxi ride could cost thirty to forty yuan, which was more than her food expenses for several days. “No need for a taxi, I’ll take the bus back.” A bus only cost two yuan, much cheaper than a taxi.
“Alright then, just be careful on your way,” the boss finally agreed.
…
As the boss and Gu Feiyin’s group left the hot pot restaurant, Gao Cai, who had been waiting outside, saw them. He didn’t approach immediately because there were quite a few people at the restaurant’s entrance. He waited a bit longer to avoid being recognized. When he saw Gu Feiyin say goodbye to her colleagues and walk to the roadside to wait for the bus, he quickly followed her.
Gu Feiyin didn’t notice someone was following her. When her bus arrived, she quickly got on.
It was past 10 PM, and there weren’t many people on the number one bus – three men, two women, and an Old Grandma with her grandson. She paid two yuan and found a seat at the back. Since she was so full, riding the bus felt like being cradled, so she leaned against the window, ready to take a nap.
Gao Cai fumbled through his bag for a while but couldn’t find two yuan. In fact, he didn’t have any cash at all. Feeling slightly embarrassed, he asked, “Can I pay with my phone?”
The bus driver smiled. “Don’t worry about it. Just pay next time.”
Gao Cai thanked him and walked to the back to find a seat. But as he passed by Gu Feiyin, the man and woman sitting near her quickly got up and moved to the other side…
Now the seats around Gu Feiyin were all empty.
Gao Cai: “…” So this is the legendary human vacuum cleaner.
Without looking around, he sat next to Gu Feiyin. As he did, he unconsciously rubbed his hands together. Was it his imagination, or did it feel even colder now?
The bus was quiet; no one spoke. Everyone either rested with their eyes closed or played with their phones, except for the Old Grandma’s grandson, who was dozing off. Only the woman sitting in the last row stared at him strangely, as if in disbelief and trying to confirm something.
Gao Cai tugged at his cap and stole a glance at the Long-haired Woman next to him. She was quietly leaning against the window, her head bowed, her long, straight hair completely covering her face. She seemed to be hiding under her hair, giving off a chilling, somewhat terrifying aura.
…Indeed, she was enough to make anyone keep their distance.
Taking a deep breath, he turned his head away and began to ponder over what to say. How could he ensure he didn’t get eaten while also not offending her?
The number one bus continued on its route, which was quite remote. There weren’t many pedestrians, and not many people got on the bus either. However, at one intersection, Three Men got on and sat in the front row, side by side. They didn’t use their phones or sleep, just sat upright, which Gao Cai noticed but didn’t dwell on. He looked again at Gu Feiyin next to him; she was still sleeping, showing no signs of waking.
Gao Cai didn’t dare disturb her sleep. He suddenly regretted his impulsiveness; even a normal girl would suspect his intentions weren’t pure with such behavior.
As he was worrying, the Old Grandma’s grandson suddenly started crying loudly. The grandma quickly pulled out two lollipops from her bag, giving one to the boy to eat and one to play with. The boy took the candy but continued to cry, inconsolable, much to the grandma’s distress.
The child’s piercing cries filled the bus, drawing involuntary glances from those playing with their phones or trying to sleep.
Gao Cai glanced at the child, then at Gu Feiyin beside him, noting that she was still sleeping through the noise. She could sleep through anything; he didn’t know that Gu Feiyin’s usual sleep was accompanied by much louder noises.
The boy, crying and throwing a tantrum, suddenly flung his lollipop far to the front of the bus. The grandma, both angry and anxious, scolded, “You know you shouldn’t throw things around!”
The boy, barely four years old, tearfully looked at his grandma and cried, “Grandpa, Grandpa, I want Grandpa, wuwuwu!”
“We’ll be home soon, Grandpa is waiting for us there. If you keep crying, I won’t take you to see Grandpa,” the grandma warned.
The boy’s tears flowed even more as he cried louder, “I want to get off, get off the bus, wuwuwu!”
Trying to calm him, the grandma continued, “We’re almost there, just a little longer, and we’ll see Grandpa. Don’t you want to see him soon?” But the boy just kept shouting that he wanted to get off the bus.
The quiet bus suddenly became lively.
Seeing the lollipop thrown to the front, and the grandma struggling to handle the child, Gao Cai pressed down his cap and stood up, intending to pick up the lollipop for them.
The lollipop had landed quite far away, right in front of the Three Men who had just boarded the bus. They sat there, straight as arrows, without any reaction. Gao Cai didn’t pay them much mind as he walked over, crouched down, and picked up the lollipop.
But as he casually glanced at the Three Men, his entire body froze, his scalp tingled, and goosebumps rose all over him.
-These three men sitting there had no feet!
Their clothes were long and thick, so at first glance, they looked just like ordinary people. But no one noticed that these Three Men had no feet! What kind of beings could walk normally without feet?
A terrifying thought crept into his mind as the Three Men turned their eyes, all staring directly at him.
Gao Cai felt that his years of acting skills had finally found their purpose. A bead of cold sweat trickled down his forehead as he gripped the lollipop tightly, stood up as if nothing was amiss, and walked back to the Old Grandma. “Here’s the lollipop.”
The Old Grandma quickly thanked him, apologizing for the noise and disturbance.
Gao Cai’s palms were still sweaty. He opened his mouth, unable to suggest that the child should get off the bus if he didn’t want to ride, because he felt those three pairs of eyes boring into his back, ready to pounce if he said one wrong word.
He clenched his fists and patted the little boy’s head. In truth, children have the sharpest instincts. He believed the child sensed something was off, which was why he cried and fussed to get off the bus. But adults often dismiss a child’s cries as mere tantrums, never considering that there might be something more to it.
At least until he saw that the Three Men had no feet, he hadn’t suspected anything was wrong on this bus.
Why did the Three Men board the bus? What were they planning? Did they intend to take everyone on this bus with them to the afterlife? Gao Cai couldn’t figure it out, but he had a gut feeling that it was dangerous. Whatever their intentions, they needed to get off the bus.
He signaled to the Old Grandma, “The child seems hot; could he have a fever? Maybe you should take him to the hospital.”
“A fever?” The Old Grandma was alarmed, quickly feeling her grandson’s forehead, and then reassured, “No, no, it’s fine. Children’s body temperatures are naturally a bit higher. Thank you.”
Gao Cai: “…”
He returned to his seat, conflicted, and when he looked up again, those six eyes were still staring at him from not far away, silent and eerie.
Gao Cai wiped the sweat from his palms, trying to steady his trembling legs. He glanced at the three men and two women sitting nearby. Three were asleep, two were engrossed in their phones, and the next stop was still a few minutes away. He could get off and save himself, but the fate of the people on this bus might not be good-they might all die here. He looked at Gu Feiyin, still asleep, undisturbed by the outside world.
He couldn’t believe that even taking a bus could lead to encountering ghosts. His luck was just too rotten!
With only a few minutes left, he had to get off at the next stop. What should he do?
…
Gao Cai’s mind raced, and he came up with a plan. He first took out his phone and sent a message to Master Zhang, hoping he would see it and come quickly. After doing this, he stood up, pretending to get off the bus. But suddenly, he staggered and collapsed to the floor, trembling, “Oh no, my heart condition is acting up! Get me to a hospital!”
The quiet bus erupted into chaos.
The child wailed louder, the Three Men fumbled with their phones to call an ambulance, “Why is the signal so bad? I can’t get through!”
A woman screamed, “Oh my God, it’s Gao Cai? It’s really Gao Cai!”
“Gao Cai’s having a heart attack! Driver, drive faster! Get us to a hospital!”
A girl was crying in panic, “What do we do? Gao Cai, hang in there! Don’t die, please! You’re my idol, my inspiration!”
Gao Cai, pale and clutching his chest, looked so weak he could barely speak. He was already quite handsome, and now he seemed even more delicate.
But as the bus continued, someone noticed something was wrong, “This isn’t the way to the hospital. Driver, driver, we need to go to the hospital first!”
The bus swayed as it moved forward, not stopping at the designated stops, and the driver hadn’t said a word.
By now, even the Three Men sitting quietly at the front seemed out of place.
The male passengers exchanged confused glances. The Flat-headed Man approached the driver, trying to communicate, “Master, someone on the bus is sick. It’s urgent. Can you head to the nearest hospital? Or at least stop the bus so we can take a taxi?”
Driver: “…” He gripped the steering wheel rigidly, not uttering a single word.
The Flat-headed Man, growing frustrated, glared at the driver, “I told you there’s an emergency! Why aren’t you listening? You’re practically committing murder by negligence. I’ll report you!”
Driver: “…”
The Flat-headed Man, getting no response, returned to the others, nearly tripping in his haste.
Seeing the Flat-headed Man’s panic, the others asked, “What’s going on?”
The Flat-headed Man whispered, “Something’s wrong. This bus isn’t right!”
The tension spread, and everyone lowered their voices, “What’s wrong? Is the driver refusing to help?”
“No… I talked to him for ages, and he didn’t say a word. He just kept driving. His eyes don’t even move, like he’s dead! I got scared and ran back! Are we on a… hearse?”
“No way, this is the modern world. You’re being superstitious. The driver just doesn’t want to help.”
“Look! Isn’t this road getting more and more remote? I don’t even recognize this place!”
“Where are we?”
Everyone looked closely and realized that the road they were on was deserted, with no other vehicles or houses in sight.
This realization left everyone stunned, even Gao Cai, who had been pretending to be sick. He looked gravely at the darkness outside, the dim bus lights the only source of illumination.
Gao Cai hadn’t expected things to turn out this way. His heart no longer hurt, and he wasn’t sweating, but his face was still pale, which others found remarkable, “Are you faking your illness?”
Gao Cai glanced at them, whispering, “I noticed something was wrong when I picked up the lollipop. Those Three Men have no feet! But I saw them walk onto the bus. How can they walk without feet?”
This revelation nearly made the more timid passengers scream. Goosebumps rose all over them.
The Flat-headed Man stammered, “No, no way, you must be mistaken!”
Gao Cai: “If I were mistaken, would we be in this situation now?”
The Flat-headed Man was at a loss for words.
Gao Cai: “If you don’t believe me, see for yourself.”
Everyone: “…”
Though skeptical, when they cautiously looked at the Three Men and saw their empty clothing, they felt a chill run down their spines, filled with despair!
How could these Three Men not be a problem?
The bus fell silent, save for the child’s sobbing. After a while, the bald man whispered, “The bus is still moving. Where is it taking us?”
A girl began to cry, “I don’t want to die, I’m so scared.”
The braver girl, a fan of Gao Cai, hugged the frightened girl, trying to comfort her despite her own fear, “Don’t cry, don’t cry. They say if you’re righteous, nothing can harm you. Evil spirits can’t touch you.”
The frightened girl cried even harder.
Gao Cai sat on the floor, rubbing his forehead. He hadn’t expected his plan to fail. He thought pretending to be sick would make the driver head to the hospital, giving him a chance to get everyone off the bus, or at least call Master Zhang… but the driver hadn’t stopped or headed to the hospital, ruining his plan!
He felt utterly helpless against the supernatural, a feeling that gnawed at him.
He looked at the Three Men sitting up front. They turned their heads, their eyes filled with malice, as if mocking their ignorance and helplessness.
By now, everyone knew the Three Men were trouble.
Their gaze, like that of a predator eyeing prey, sent shivers down everyone’s spines. The Old Grandma held her crying grandson, tears streaming down her face, muttering prayers. The men trembled, and the girls huddled together, too scared to even glance at the Three Men.
The bus swayed as it moved forward, as if heading into an abyss.
Their long coats hung empty where feet should be, eerie and bizarre.
…
When Gu Feiyin woke up, she was dumbfounded. She looked at the unfamiliar surroundings outside the window, exclaiming in surprise, “Oh no, did I miss my stop?”
She called out, “Master, where are we?”
It was then she noticed that the passengers weren’t in their seats. They were all gathered at the door, the child sobbing hoarsely, the Old Grandma clutching her grandson and muttering prayers. Two women were crying in each other’s arms, and four men stood by the door, seemingly ready to get off.
Her sudden voice drew everyone’s attention, and they all turned to look at her, then retreated as if in fear…
This one seemed even more intimidating…
Gu Feiyin was momentarily confused. What was going on? Then she sniffed the air, catching a whiff of something that wasn’t pleasant. It smelled like the Old Lady next door, dry and unappetizing, not nearly as good as Hot Pot, or even Hot Pot Noodles, beef buns, or Tea Eggs.
The moment Gao Cai heard Gu Feiyin’s voice, his eyes lit up with hope. He turned to look at her seriously. Despite her expressionless face and the eerie way she moved, he felt a glimmer of hope.
How could he forget? He had boarded the bus with Gu Feiyin.
When the Three Men without feet saw the Long-haired Woman approaching step by step, a hint of hesitation flickered in their eerie eyes.
Gu Feiyin twisted her way forward, and Gao Cai couldn’t help but whisper, “Wait.”
Gu Feiyin glanced at him, finding him somewhat familiar. Gao Cai said, “Be careful.”
Careful of what? Gu Feiyin didn’t quite understand, but she nodded and grinned, “Okay.”
Gao Cai shivered, “…”
The others couldn’t help but shiver too, watching the Long-haired Woman walk over. The more timid ones turned away, afraid that in a blink, the Long-haired Woman might meet a gruesome fate.
Gu Feiyin’s steps were slow, her leg twisted awkwardly, making even the Three Ghosts a bit anxious. Finally reaching her destination, she asked seriously, “Master, where is this? Have we passed Fumin Road?”
Driver: “…”
Gu Feiyin: “Hmm? Have we passed it?”
Driver: “…We passed it.”
Gu Feiyin’s face darkened, “We passed it? I only slept for less than half an hour. How did we get through over twenty stops so fast?”
Driver: “…We haven’t passed it.”
Gu Feiyin: “I thought so. I remember not sleeping long. Please let me know when we reach Fumin Road.”
Driver: “…Okay.”
With a clear answer, Gu Feiyin relaxed. She was worried about missing her stop and having to spend another two yuan to get back. Two yuan could buy a Tea Egg, and she really didn’t want to waste money like that. Plus, she’d have to walk back herself, making the earlier two yuan a waste as well.
She twisted her way back, thinking that since she was about to get off, there was no point in napping anymore. Her leg wasn’t good for walking, so she simply sat down opposite the Three Ghosts.
Hiss-! There was an audible gasp from behind!
The Three Ghosts: “…”
The Three Ghosts lowered their heads, staring at her with their six lifeless eyes, gray and venomous. As they stared, their eyes filled with crimson blood, which streamed down their faces.
Gu Feiyin: “…”
She looked at them, glancing at the one on the left, then the middle, then the right, expressionless.
The Three Ghosts: “…”
The Three Ghosts shifted, blood oozing from their eye sockets, quickly soaking into the floor, forming small rivers that seemed to threaten to flood the bus. The screams of men and women were deafening, the cries of children growing louder, and their heads began to rot, turning into a mass of moving decayed flesh, even their eyeballs bulging out…
“Ahhh, help-!” The hysterical screams and pleas for mercy seemed to indicate a mental breakdown.
Gu Feiyin: “…”
The Three Ghosts: “…”
This is too ugly. Not just the kids nearby, even she couldn’t bear to look. She glanced around and saw some burlap behind the driver’s seat, casually tossing a piece to each ghost, just enough to cover them.
The Three Ghosts under the burlap: “…”
Gu Feiyin was quite clever. She had been worried about wasting two yuan earlier, so she hadn’t thought of anything else. Now she finally realized that these four ghosts were here to cause trouble. She had long known that some little ghosts loved to play pranks, just like the ones in her mountain. If an unlucky person with low Yang Energy wandered in, they’d go and play with him until he cried for mercy.
She had once watched out of boredom and found it quite dull, preferring to sleep instead.
But it was during that time that she first saw the handsome Monk. A mischievous little ghost had said he wanted to test whether the Monk, who had come to the village for alms, was truly powerful or just a name. So he gathered a group of underlings to cause trouble, but only a few returned. The others were reportedly forcibly Transcended by the Monk, whose skills were terrifying. A few chants, and they ascended in a flash of white light!!
Heaven knows they loved their mischievous days.
The few remaining little ghosts returned crying, shedding tears of blood that almost filled her pit. Their constant wailing scared even the birds and beasts away from their mountain for a while.
Ghosts do hold grudges, but they didn’t dare seek revenge after being bullied by the Monk. They just buzzed around her ears, piquing her curiosity. One night, she snuck down to the village.
The Monk was temporarily staying at a house at the village entrance. When she went at night, he was still meditating and chanting. At that time, she rarely saw someone with all limbs intact and such a handsome face. Not only was he the village’s most handsome, but also the mountain’s. He was too good-looking!
She thought of the beautiful ghost who seduced men and decided to try a taste of the Monk’s Yang Energy…
Just as she took a bite, the Monk opened his eyes, filled with compassion. She was so scared she vanished in a flash, fearing the Monk would chant her into Transcendence.
Who knew that when she returned to her pit, she had a stomachache that made her wish for Transcendence? When the handsome Monk came looking, she was too resigned to run away. Surprisingly, the Monk didn’t chant her into Transcendence but made sarcastic remarks! How could the heavens be kind to a ghost?
Thinking back, Gu Feiyin still felt a bit annoyed. If she had known it would hurt her stomach, she would have taken a few more sips. One sip for a month’s pain was too much of a loss.
But the Monk’s Yang Energy was truly delicious, ranking among the best things she’d ever eaten, alongside Hot Pot!
She couldn’t help but lick her lips. She was full earlier, but now she felt hungry again. The human stomach was truly baffling, needing to eat every day. She used to eat one Malevolent Ghost, and it would last her years!
The Three Ghosts found the eerie gaze of the strange Long-haired Woman unsettling, especially when she licked her lips. Her eyes were filled with hunger and longing, making their heads ache.
One person and three ghosts stared at each other.
The footless ghosts felt a bit afraid. She was just a human, so why was she so creepy…
…
The nearby humans were terrified, climbing onto seats, watching the blood on the floor rise higher, screaming and crying as if it were the end of the world.
Gao Cai held the sobbing little boy, crouching on a seat. The Old Grandma was pale and nearly fainting.
He glanced at Gu Feiyin. Despite her expressionless demeanor, he didn’t feel as scared as before. At least not as helpless and hopeless. He turned to look outside, noticing that at some point, the endless darkness had transformed into skyscrapers and city lights. There were even vehicles passing by, and he could faintly see pedestrians on the roadside…
He nudged the Flat-headed Man beside him, gesturing for him to look outside.
The Flat-headed Man snapped out of his despair, looking out the window.
In an instant, his eyes, once filled with hopelessness, burst with excitement and joy, “What’s going on??”
Gao Cai gestured for silence, and the Flat-headed Man calmed down. The others also noticed the familiar scene outside the window, and they cried tears of joy, “Are we saved?”
Gao Cai smiled, “She saved us.”
Everyone looked at the Long-haired Woman with a mix of fear and deep gratitude.
Gao Cai hadn’t expected that his simple intention to confirm something and say thank you would lead to such a thrilling night. He was once again certain that she was a good person. Perhaps dealing with ghosts or being around them made her seem eerie and a bit scary?
…
Finally reaching Fumin Road, Gu Feiyin got off the bus. As she did, everyone else, whether at their stop or not, followed her off. Their speed was like rockets, with two even collapsing to their knees in shock, crying hysterically, clearly terrified.
But once they recovered from the relief of surviving, they looked back and saw no footless men on the bus. Even the driver was slumped over, unconscious for who knows how long. It wasn’t until the police arrived that they discovered this and hurriedly sent him to the hospital.
When they wanted to thank the Long-haired Woman, she was nowhere to be found, and neither was Gao Cai.
The next day, a post titled “Bus 1 Encounter with Ghosts” went viral. The poster detailed how they took the bus after a night shift and encountered three footless ghosts, along with the celebrity Gao Cai. They were taken to an unknown place and thought they were doomed, only to be saved by a Long-haired Woman!
The onlookers were skeptical. Ghosts were one thing, but involving a celebrity like Gao Cai? It sounded like a plot from a drama.
The poster said, “Believe it or not, that Long-haired Woman was incredible. She was asleep in the back, and we didn’t notice her. But when she woke up and realized we weren’t on the way home, she walked through the ghosts to ask the driver, ‘Have we passed Fumin Road?’ It scared me to death!”
The poster continued, “I had asked the driver, who was possessed by a ghost, but he ignored me. Yet she asked a few more questions, and he answered. First, he said we passed, then said we hadn’t. Haha, thinking back, the ghost must have been scared and obediently took us back to Fumin Road. We got off with her and survived!”
Though the poster faced attacks from many onlookers, a few others corroborated the story, claiming they were there too and could testify. They even called the police that night… Of course, they were all dismissed as accomplices.
Only an ID named “I am Wang” commented deeply, “Be careful, you might have encountered a ghost heading to Fumin Road.”
The poster: “…”
The poster was terrified, nearly wetting themselves.
Of course, “I am Wang” was also ridiculed.
In a scientific society, believe in science.
