“There is no misunderstanding.”
I turned my head and stared at her intently, “I just think you and Zhou Jingnan have something going on.”
Chen Manman was visibly stunned, a trace of panic evident to the naked eye.
The most interesting part was that her first glance was towards her diagonal, across from me.

Chen Manman bit her lip, “Pianpian, you really misunderstood me. I apologize, but Ah Nan and I are really just friends.”

“No need to explain to me.”
My gaze lingered between her and Zhou Jingnan, and my expression began to turn innocent as well.
“Didn’t Zhou Jingnan tell you? We’ve broken up.”
Zhou Jingnan put on a look of wanting to say something but hesitating, “Pianpian, I…”
I rolled my eyes internally five, six, seven, eight times, “I’m full.”
He looked at me, pursing his lips in thought for about ten seconds, “Don’t forget the department meeting tonight.”
Then he watched me leave.
