Chapter 11
When Fu Shen saw me, his brows relaxed instantly, and the hand gripping the wine glass slowly loosened.
Yet, he still kept a stern face, refusing to look at me.
It was then that I noticed that all the other men had one or two female companions drinking with them, except Fu Shen.
Lu Yifeng immediately clarified:
“Jiang Wan, don’t misunderstand, these female companions are ours, they have nothing to do with Brother Shen.
“Jiang Wan, come sit down, who else would dare sit next to Brother Shen besides you?”
At some point, Fu Shen had already moved his jacket away from the seat beside him, leaving the spot empty for me.
Lu Yifeng began clearing the area, calling the female companions out.
I hurriedly stopped him, “No need, I came with colleagues, I need to go back.”
“And Fu Shen and I are getting divorced, these things have nothing to do with me…”
Before I could finish, Fu Shen interrupted me, as if he really didn’t want to hear the word divorce.
“Jiang Wan, have you had enough fun? Even jokes have their limits.”
I looked directly at Fu Shen:
“I’m not joking. Do you remember what I said the first time you got drunk at KTV?
“I’m serious!”
Upon hearing this, Fu Shen’s expression changed, clearly recalling the incident.
Back then, Fu Shen got drunk and mistook another girl for me, almost kissing her, but I arrived just in time.
I had told Fu Shen then, “If you get dirty, I won’t want you anymore.”
Just as I reached the door, I heard the sound of a glass shattering behind me.
It was Fu Shen who had smashed the wine glass in his hand.
“Jiang Wan, you want a divorce, right? I’ll grant you that. Tomorrow, at the Civil Affairs Bureau, don’t be late.”
“Alright.”
This is exactly what I wanted.
