Except for the first day at Universal Studios, Jiang Qin spent seven whole days in meetings.
At first, I accompanied Niannian on outings, but I could tell that after all these years of missing out, he was still more eager for Jiang Qin to spend time with him.

“When are we going home?”

Jiang Qin was overjoyed, scooping Ruan Annian up in his arms: “Call me Daddy.”
Niannian called out loudly: “Daddy!”
My eyes grew hot, and seeing Jiang Qin smile like that, I noticed he had wrinkles at the corners of his eyes.
He’s thirty-five now, and I’m thirty.
