chapter 9
Chapter 9
I drove the sightseeing car past the Bear Enclosure.
They lay on the railings watching me, then gave my car a shove.
Bear: [What’s this? Sightseeing car, let’s play.]
Another bear: [Looks fun, I want to play too.]
I was pushed around like a toy by the bears, spinning inside the car until I was about to puke.
The comments changed too:
[This perspective is making me dizzy.]
[I’m struggling just watching the stream, how is the streamer holding up?]
The streamer is not holding up.
The streamer is so dizzy they want to die.
I staggered out of the Bear Enclosure.
I only drove a few meters by myself.
Each bear gave me a slap, helping me leave the Zoo.
Very touching.
But I didn’t dare move.
I got out of the car and squatted by the side to throw up.
It felt like my cerebellum wasn’t my own.
The livestream chat was silent for a long time.
After a while, someone finally spoke:
[I’m so dizzy.]
[It’s finally over.]
[I had to quit just now, I couldn’t hold on.]
I slumped on the ground for quite a while.
The full moon in the sky paused when I sat down to rest.
If I don’t move forward, I’ll never see the sunrise.
The moon was already setting in the west.
Just a short distance left.
I got up and kept walking.
I picked this Zoo after a lot of research.
There are so many animals.
Now I just want to beat up my past self.
The next area is the Wolf Enclosure.
I planned to speedrun it.
Without hesitation, I sent money to Shan Yuan’s livestream.
He started calculating, then reported one by one.
“Don’t provoke the wolves’ wild nature.
“There might be a Werewolf among them.”
[Werewolf? Does that kind of creature really exist?]
[Streamer, go check it out, hurry!]
How could I dare?
I wished I could dive in and dash right back out.
I watched the wolves through the wire fence.
Shan Yuan said not to provoke the wolves’ wild side, and I remembered something awkward.
I called out in a deliberately cutesy way, “Big doggy.”
Wolf: [?]
Wolves can’t talk, so the chat became their voice.
[Haha… haha… haha… wolf-it’s a wolf.]
[It’s a wolf, it’s a wolf.]
Me: “Big doggy.”
Wolf: [……]
[It’s funny, but I’m curling my toes from secondhand embarrassment.]
[Is the streamer not afraid of being awkward? What if it’s a Werewolf?]
[Wolf-it’s a wolf.]
I started fake-crying:
“Big doggy.”
Wolf: [……woof.]
Mission accomplished.
Didn’t provoke wildness.
Just provoked awkwardness.
The chat was losing it, spamming “hahaha” in long strings.
Wolf: [House wolves, who can relate? Seriously speechless, today we met a human who plays at being awkward.]
