The Path of Revenge After Rebirth - Chapter 7
In the vast banquet hall, countless people cast their eyes, eager for a spectacle.
“What? Bullying classmates? The daughter of the Lu Family is involved in such things?”
“Oh dear, raised in luxury, it’s quite normal not to tolerate others being better than oneself.”
“Luckily, her brother is standing up for justice, not covering up for her.”
In Lin Jiu’s eyes, filled with pride and provocation, I straightened my back.
Smiling, I spoke with biting sarcasm:
“Brother, what nonsense are you talking about? Those who know might think you’re Lu Xinting, those who don’t might think some ghost from the Qing Dynasty has possessed you.”
“I only kneel before deceased ancestors.”
I tilted my head, sizing him up and down for a moment, then laughed maliciously,
“How about this, you go out now and find a building to jump off, I’ll kneel and bow three times to send you off.”
Lu Xinting’s face suddenly darkened.
Behind him, Lin Jiu spoke with feigned sincerity:
“I know you don’t like me, but if you bully me, that’s one thing. How can you speak to your own brother like that?”
She widened her eyes, tears welling up, deliberately putting on a childish yet innocent expression that wasn’t genuine.
Beside her, Jiang Tian saw this, a mysterious shadow flickering in his eyes.
Then, he spoke softly:
“Xinxin, since you made a mistake, just admit it and apologize, there’s no need-”
I widened my eyes too, feigning distress:
“Sorry, I don’t understand dog barks. Could you repeat it in human language?”
“Enough!”
Lu Xinting shouted sternly,
“Lu Xinxi, you’re a girl, do you know what shame is? Who taught you to speak so rudely, with no manners?”
He’s still the same as before, never believing anything I say.
Instead, he would repeatedly nail me to the pillar of shame with strong bias.
I tugged at the corner of my lips, mimicking his cold smile:
“Mom and Dad are busy, they don’t have time for me, guess who taught me?”
“Of course, it was you, my dear brother.”
