The Open Marriage You Thought It Was - Chapter 28
Lu Tong’s mother has been transferred to another hospital.
The nurse looked at me in surprise, “Ms. Lu and her friend took her.”
Friend.
It was Cheng Yu again.
I rushed to Cheng Yu’s fitness studio.
The girl at the front desk was startled by me.
She contacted Cheng Yu while calling security.
I didn’t wait for Cheng Yu to arrive, but the police came instead.
A crowd gathered to watch the commotion.
I could only explain to the police, “I’m not here to cause trouble, I’m here to find their boss.”
By the time Cheng Yu and Lu Tong arrived, the police had already left.
Lu Tong looked at me, full of disappointment.
She and I sat face to face in the lounge that Cheng Yu had arranged.
Cheng Yu stood behind her, staring at me intently.
“This is getting a bit tiresome, Zhou Heran.”
“The lawyer is already gathering evidence of your infidelity over the past few months, whether it’s chat records or hotel records.”
“I heard Jiang Yu even had an abortion for you.”
“In the end, it’s still going to end in divorce, don’t you think?”
Lu Tong’s voice was very soft.
Like a feather.
It landed on my heart, yet weighed a thousand kilograms.
“And what about you?”
“Are you and him clean? Haven’t you two been together for a long time?”
I clenched my fists.
Due to the transparent floor-to-ceiling glass of the lounge, I struggled to control my emotions.
Lu Tong pursed her lips.
She glanced back at Cheng Yu, then turned back to look at me.
“So what?”
“Ask your lawyer, is there any evidence?”
