Chapter 2

Jiang Yi noticed my hesitation. He shuffled his sprained leg and sat on the chair in front of me. Before I knew it, he grabbed my hand and pointed to his ankle. His ankle was already bruised and swollen. “I can’t walk on my foot.”

Maintaining a skeptical attitude towards the bullet comments, I moved a few steps closer to Jiang Yi and reached out to help him. However, I accidentally stepped on a stair, lost my balance, and uncontrollably tumbled into Jiang Yi’s arms. My lips met a soft, warm spot.

Jiang Yi let out a muffled groan.

I was so close to Jiang Yi that I could count his dense eyelashes, which still had unshed tears clinging to them.

To be fair, Jiang Yi was really handsome, and his lips were soft.

“Jiang Yi, just a second ago you said it didn’t hurt.” The school queen, holding a first-aid kit, finally reacted to the scene. Her voice pulled me back to reality, and I quickly stepped away.

Jiang Yi, who had been looking so pitiful, was now staring at me intently, and he even licked the spot I had accidentally kissed. My face flushed crimson. The bullet comments hadn’t mentioned Jiang Yi was such a charmer.

The bullet comments scrolled wildly.

[Jiang Yi is now so thrilled he doesn’t know what’s happening; look at how he’s still savoring it.]

[Make him wear grey pants, now his reaction is so obvious, he can’t even hide it.]

[Female lead: breathing. Jiang Yi: impressive tactics.]

I stared at the nonsensical bullet comments, my mind a jumble. My eyes couldn’t help but sneak a peek at where Jiang Yi was sitting. It really was quite prominent. My face got even hotter.

The school queen anxiously threw the kit to the ground. “I’ll take you to the infirmary.” She rushed over, about to pull me away from Jiang Yi. “Classmate, stay away from Jiang Yi.”

“Don’t add to the trouble here, go to class.”

I hadn’t said anything, but Jiang Yi, hearing this, immediately took my hand and pulled me closer to him. He turned his head, frowned, and glared coldly at the school queen. “Who the hell are you?”

“How dare you talk to her like that?”
