Spoiled by Love - Sweetheart, Don't Tempt Me - Chapter 96 - Thinking About That Matter
Behind her, Gong Xiaoqiao’s teasing laughter echoed, but it didn’t last long. A hoarse voice cut through, effectively silencing Xiaoqiao and stopping Zhan Niantong in her tracks. She turned around and, as expected, saw Ye Weijia’s back. His head was lowered, obscuring his expression, but she could hear the apology in his voice as he said, “Xiaoqiao… can we talk?”
His voice was hoarse and low, clearly tinged with regret.
For a moment, Xiaoqiao’s expression froze. But when she looked at Weijia again, seeing his once handsome face now haggard, she subtly furrowed her brows, then forced a carefree smile. “Alright!”
Niantong looked at Xiaoqiao with concern. “Xiaoqiao…”
Though Xiaoqiao seemed carefree and cheerful as usual these days, the twenty years of feelings and habits couldn’t be easy to let go of.
Xiaoqiao waved her hand dismissively, teasingly urging her, “I’m fine. Go on, have your date with your husband! Make the most of your time together before little Xiaomai gets out of school.”
Ugh, how annoying! Here she was, showing concern, and Xiaoqiao was still teasing her!
Blushing, Niantong shot her a glare, deciding to ignore her and got into the car.
The understated luxury of the Bugatti glided smoothly down the road, yet the little woman inside kept glancing at the rearview mirror. Her husband felt a twinge of jealousy. “Wife, am I really less charming than Gong Xiaoqiao?” Staring at another woman and ignoring her husband-what was going on?
Just then, Xiaoqiao got into Ye Weijia’s car, driving in the opposite direction. Niantong finally looked away, turning to her dear husband. Seeing his stern face, she sheepishly stuck out her tongue. “I was just worried about her!”
“Ye Weijia isn’t going to eat her. What are you worried about?” His tone was dripping with jealousy, filling the space with his sour mood.
Honestly, these two were perfect for each other, with their competitive jealousy!
Seeing her husband’s obvious jealousy, she couldn’t pretend not to notice. Trying to appease him, she said, “Alright, she’s gone now. I’m not worried about her anymore, just you. Is that okay?”
The man kept his eyes on the road, but the corner of his mouth twitched into a slight smile. Still, he played it cool, saying, “You say that, but who knows what you’re really thinking.”
Sensing his jealousy hadn’t quite dissipated, Niantong didn’t dare take it lightly. Gazing at his perfect profile, she anxiously said, “What else could I be thinking? Of course, I’m thinking about you! We haven’t seen each other for a week. Who else would I be thinking about?”
His smile grew even brighter. “Really thinking about me?”
She pouted slightly, then honestly murmured, “Yeah!”
The old fox, having honed his skills over time, knew exactly how to lead the little rabbit into his carefully laid trap. “How much do you miss me?”
With her husband’s jealousy finally subsiding, she seized the opportunity to make him happy. “Very much, very much.”
Satisfied with her answer, he deftly turned the steering wheel, pulling the car over to the side of the road. Then, he turned to face his wife, leisurely gazing at her. “Since you miss me so much, shouldn’t you show it?”
Zhan Niantong was puzzled at first, but seeing the light in his eyes gradually gather into a dazzling spark, her cheeks flushed with a few pink clouds.
Oh, this rascal, always thinking about such embarrassing things!
She lowered her eyelashes, shyly murmuring, “But we’re on the road!”
Xia Zhennan raised an eyebrow, his gaze growing even hotter, locking onto her eyes with a look that clearly told her that if she didn’t act, he would keep staring at her, melting her with his fiery gaze.
Feeling both shy and ticklish under his intense gaze, Zhan Niantong glanced outside. Fortunately, at this hour, there were few cars and pedestrians. Gathering her courage, she leaned over and gave his sexy lips a quick peck.
But how could a hungry wolf be satisfied with just a nibble? This tiny morsel wasn’t even enough to fill the gap between his teeth!
Xia Zhennan took the initiative, swiftly and accurately capturing her soft lips, pouring all his week’s longing into a passionate and deep kiss.
This kiss was like a parched traveler in the desert finally finding an oasis, urgent and fervent, mingled with the familiar minty scent she knew so well. It was a domineering entanglement, the first impatient embrace after their separation, filled with the familiar and cherished scent of each other.
Her heart seemed to explode, igniting a brilliant fire, and her mind blossomed with beautiful fireworks, leaving no room for other thoughts. She forgot they were in the car, forgot it was parked on the road, and instinctively wrapped her arms around his neck, responding tenderly and shyly, as if to ease the longing of the past days.
Her lips were warm and soft, challenging his fragile control, like tasting the most exquisite delicacy, addictive from the first bite, impossible to quit.
His large hand reached behind her head, deepening the kiss repeatedly, feeling her tremble slightly as his urgency seemed to take her breath away. She panted softly, unable to escape, allowing him to tease her, fully satisfying his powerful possessiveness.
Finally, the intense kiss lasted for five minutes before it ended.
His lips had left hers, and the still tense and inexplicably excited Zhan Niantong hadn’t yet recovered, staring at him with wide, dazed eyes, her lips slightly parted, unable to utter a word.
This little enchantress, her expression was truly captivating!
He lowered his gaze, leaning in to whisper teasingly in her ear, “Silly girl, do you want more?”
“Ah!” Her face turned crimson as she realized they were still in the car. The passionate moment they just shared felt almost illicit, and she was embarrassed by their lack of discretion. With her head bowed and cheeks flushed, she murmured in regret, “We’re on the street; someone must have seen us!”
Xia Zhennan chuckled at her remorseful expression, gently ruffling her hair as if soothing a beloved pet. “No one saw us; the windows are specially tinted.”
“Oh!” She replied softly, trying to hide her face in her chest.
Seeing his wife so shy, Xia Zhennan decided not to tease her further. He pressed the accelerator, merging back into traffic.
Zhan Niantong peeked out from her metaphorical shell, glancing at the passing scenery. “Where are we going now?” she asked curiously.
Having just indulged in some sweet treats, Xia Zhennan was in a particularly good mood. With a lazy smile, he countered, “What do you think?”
“I have no idea!” she replied, puzzled. His thoughts were never easy to decipher, and she couldn’t think of a suitable destination. Surely, they weren’t heading to the kindergarten to wait for Xiaomai to finish school, were they?
Her innocent expression made Xia Zhennan’s gaze soften even more. “Didn’t your friend suggest we enjoy some time alone? Once the little guy gets out of school, we won’t have any time to ourselves.”
His answer was as vague as before, leaving her still wondering about their destination. “Oh, so where are we going?”
“Home,” Xia Zhennan replied cheerfully, his voice lifting with excitement. “To our little home!” He pressed the accelerator again, and the car sped toward their cozy abode. In less than ten minutes, they arrived at the entrance of their neighborhood. Eagerly, the hungry wolf wrapped an arm around his wife’s waist, hurrying her towards their nest.
She assumed his eagerness was simply a longing for home, so she didn’t think much of it. But as soon as the door opened, the hungry wolf pounced. Her feet left the ground as he scooped her up, pinning her against the door with a fervent kiss. What was happening?
They had just kissed earlier, and now he was at it again. This time, the kiss was more urgent, more passionate, and his body pressed against hers, making her acutely aware of the changes in him.
His breath grew hotter, his body warmer, and the proud pillar in his trousers pressed insistently against her.
If she still couldn’t figure out his reason for rushing home, she might as well head back to kindergarten for some education.
“Wife, I missed you,” Xia Zhennan finally pulled back, but only from her lips. His eyes, burning with desire, gazed at her pleadingly.
“You…” Zhan Niantong’s face flushed with embarrassment at his advances, feeling both annoyed and shy. This hungry wolf, thinking about such things the moment he returned.
Without a response, the hungry wolf was unwilling to let go. He guided her hand to the hottest part of his body, the searing heat startling her into a squeal. Above her, his husky, seductive voice fell, “Wife, it misses its little sister too!”
