Seduced by the Bachelor Fox Spirit - Chapter 22
Inside the room, there was a large cold stone, and the fiery red fox curled up lazily.
It looked as if he was asleep.
I touched the soft fur on his back, unable to suppress the memory of the first time I saw him.
As I mentioned before, he was really quite ugly when I first met him.
His once shiny fur was charred black, and his body was covered with wounds of various sizes.
Master pointed at him: “This little fox is inherently vicious, he almost bit me just now, it’s better to refine him.”
I looked down at him, and he happened to look up at me.
The little fox’s face was also injured, and the blood at the corner of his eye was particularly striking.
But his gaze made my heart tremble.
It was bright, a bit fearful and a bit fierce.
“Master,” I said, “he just wants to survive.”
“My birthday is coming up, let this fox be my birthday gift.”
Master bent down to tidy up his magical tools and casually agreed, reminding me: “His demonic nature is strong, be careful.”
As the saying goes, not listening to the advice of elders leads to suffering right in front of you.
This saying was indeed true.
I thought the fox was weak due to his injuries, but when I untied the binding demon rope on him, preparing to apply medicine, he suddenly lashed out and scratched me.
That claw landed right on my neck, and blood immediately flowed.
I was stunned, and when Master rushed over upon hearing the commotion, I instinctively covered the wound on my neck.
If Master found out the fox had hurt me, he might destroy him.
After a few days of healing, the little fox was no longer so fierce.
Sometimes he would even nuzzle my leg, acting coy.
Later, he left one night.
Before leaving, he came to my side, and at that time, I was actually awake.
The little fox licked the wound on my neck and sat beside me for a long time.
I didn’t open my eyes to look at him, because I couldn’t bear to.
