Chapter 93 - Compensation
After dinner, Tang Huaijin escorted the young lady to the Maybach parked by the roadside, watching her leave.
Although Bai Yuerou still wore a gentle smile, Tang Huaijin didn’t need to think much to know that she must be feeling bad inside.
Her confession was refused by him, yet she had to pretend to be a couple with her rival and the boy she liked.
Thinking about this filled him with guilt, feeling as though he had taken advantage of Bai Yuerou.
After standing in place for a long time, Tang Huaijin sighed, rode his electric bike back home.
Tang Yaoyao had just arrived home too, changed into her pajamas, and was about to message her brother when she heard the door open.
Seeing Tang Huaijin come in and sit on the sofa, Tang Yaoyao quickly went over and asked, “Jin, how did it go? Did she agree?”
Tang Huaijin forced a smile and said, “She agreed. I’m planning to make it public in a few days.”
“Phew, you scared me. I thought you were refused with that expression.” Tang Yaoyao finally breathed a sigh of relief, then asked puzzledly, “Then why do you look so unhappy?”
Tang Huaijin sighed and said, “Sis, it’s not easy to accept this kind of thing. I owe her a big favor this time, and with the book publishing incident last time, I don’t know when I can repay it.”
After hearing her brother’s words, Tang Yaoyao sighed too, saying, “Yes, Bai Yuerou is really a good person, we should thank her properly and see if there’s any way to compensate her.”
Tang Huaijin smiled helplessly and said, “Her family is wealthy and lacks nothing, how can we compensate her…”
Tang Yaoyao thought about it and realized it was true, seeing her brother’s face full of melancholy, she felt a bit heartbroken, gently wrapped her arms around Tang Huaijin’s neck, kissed his cheek, and softly said, “Alright, Jin, there will be opportunities, don’t think about it.”
“Okay, I’ll think about something else.” Tang Huaijin nodded, lowered his head to nuzzle his sister’s cheek, and his hand around her waist started to become restless, gently slipping under the hem of her pajamas, caressing the smooth skin.
His sister’s face slowly turned red, noticing his hand moving upwards, she playfully pulled away, snuggled into his arms, and teased, “I didn’t mean for you to think about this. Did you ask her for a photo?”
“Yes, I’ll post it on my Moments in a few days to announce it, so you won’t feel guilty anymore, right?” Tang Huaijin chuckled, playing with his sister’s face, saying, “Then we can go out together without worrying about you feeling pressured. You don’t know, I’ve been scared too, afraid you’ll leave me because of others’ opinions.”
After speaking, he looked into Tang Yaoyao’s eyes, chuckled, “Then do you think you should reward me?”
Hearing Tang Huaijin say this, Tang Yaoyao knew her state was quite tormenting, even though she knew he was deliberately acting pitiful, she couldn’t help but feel a bit guilty, lovingly touching her dear brother’s face, softly said, “What reward does Jin want?”
Tang Huaijin smiled, “Sister, kiss me first.”
Tang Yaoyao bit her lip, hesitated for a moment, then blushingly leaned over, gently kissed the corner of his lips, but was caught by him, turning into a passionate kiss.
…
Tang Huaijin held his sister’s lips, gently sucking.
Tang Yaoyao’s moist peach blossom eyes shyly closed, letting her brother’s tongue ravage her mouth.
Having experienced many tongue kisses, Tang Yaoyao gradually became skilled, her little tongue deftly responding to him, occasionally letting out a charming moan.
Tang Huaijin’s hand gently covered the fullness, playfully kneading through the pajamas.
Her tender chest was squeezed, Tang Yaoyao’s face turned crimson, slightly opened her eyes, filled with spring, softly murmured, “Don’t squeeze, didn’t you say just a kiss?”
Tang Huaijin nuzzled and licked her snow-white neck, mumbling, “This is part of the reward too.”
Her most sensitive neck was attacked, Tang Yaoyao’s body instantly softened, her delicate hands weakly wrapped around his neck, her face flushed with allure, letting Tang Huaijin tease her.
But noticing his other hand quietly slipping under her pajamas, Tang Yaoyao panicked, because she wasn’t wearing a bra at home, she couldn’t let Tang Huaijin touch, angrily she bit his shoulder, making him gasp, quickly withdrawing his hand, begging, “Ow… let go, sis, I was wrong.”
Tang Yaoyao finally let go, left the little rascal, but her legs gave way, she plopped onto the nearby sofa, glaring at Tang Huaijin, scolding, “How dare you push your luck, trying to reach inside, little pervert, really think I won’t bite you?”
Tang Huaijin pulled his collar, seeing the two teeth marks left by his sister’s silver teeth on his shoulder, smiled wryly, “If you don’t want, just say so, why bite me.”
Tang Yaoyao’s face still carried the lingering blush, hearing this, she just hummed, not saying goodnight, angrily ran back to her room to shower.
Until the next morning after breakfast, Tang Huaijin coaxed her for a long time, his sister finally calmed down, reluctantly forgave him, and after he shamelessly kissed her, she couldn’t help but smile, playfully rolling her eyes at him, telling him to hurry up and leave.
Seeing his sister finally calm down, Tang Huaijin breathed a sigh of relief, being scolded but happily left home with his bag.
After arriving at school, Tang Huaijin walked into the classroom and sat down at his seat.
Seeing Tang Huaijin, Bai Yuerou’s face lit up with a smile, and she softly said, “Jin, good morning.”
“Mm, good morning.” Tang Huaijin nodded with a smile. The two had already communicated last night, and Tang Huaijin suggested waiting a while before announcing their relationship. Bai Yuerou didn’t ask why.
Noticing Xia Xinya lying on the desk, half-asleep, Tang Huaijin chuckled softly, reached out to rub her little head, and asked, “Why so sleepy? Didn’t sleep well last night?”
Xia Xinya, feeling comfortable from the head rub, squinted her eyes but pretended to be reluctant, muttering, “None of your business.”
Tang Huaijin didn’t mind, withdrew his hand, and exchanged a glance with Bai Yuerou, both smiling helplessly.
During the afternoon self-study session, Shen Yiqiu came in with a stack of materials and distributed them. She tapped the blackboard at the podium and said, “Quiet down, today’s class meeting is mainly to discuss this Friday’s school anniversary gala.”
“Each class must present at least one program. The type is not limited–singing, dancing, drama, choir, all are possible. The arts representative and monitor should discuss it.”
“Alright, you can start discussing. Feel free to share any ideas.”
As soon as she said this, the class erupted in excitement. After a lively discussion, they decided to have a few lively boys perform a skit.
Shen Yiqiu agreed, and the program was settled.
Bai Yuerou put down her book, looked at Tang Huaijin, and smiled, “Jin, I’m the host for this year’s school anniversary gala. We’re still missing a male host. Would you like to do it?”
Tang Huaijin hesitated, “Male host?”
To be honest, he wasn’t fond of such tasks–hard work with little reward.
Seeing his hesitant expression, Bai Yuerou smiled, leaned closer to Tang Huaijin’s ear, and whispered, “Haven’t you been thinking about how to compensate me? Consider this as compensation.”
After speaking, she returned to her seat, smiling lightly, “Yes, help me out, okay?”
Tang Huaijin looked at her with a complex expression, nodded gently, and said, “Alright.”
What kind of compensation is this? Bai Yuerou saw his guilt and deliberately gave him a way to feel better…
Sigh, Tang Huaijin felt quite melancholic.
Xia Xinya, seeing Tang Huaijin initially refuse, but then agree immediately after Rou’s coaxing, felt displeased and huffed, “Rou, this rascal knows nothing about hosting. He might not even speak his lines smoothly.”
Bai Yuerou smiled at Xia Xinya and said, “He won’t. I trust Jin not to disappoint me.”
Hearing Bai Yuerou’s words, Xia Xinya couldn’t say anything more, just pouted and stopped talking.
A few days passed quickly, and soon it was Thursday.
The program list was finalized by Tuesday, and many students were rehearsing their performances in the auditorium. Tang Huaijin was also practicing lines with Bai Yuerou.
Two days were enough for Tang Huaijin to memorize the draft thoroughly. While reciting his lines, he suddenly noticed that the surrounding students had stopped rehearsing and were crowding towards a corner of the auditorium.
Tang Huaijin and Bai Yuerou exchanged curious glances and joined the crowd to see what was happening.
In the center of the crowd was a boy with glasses, playing the guitar and singing a love song, confessing his feelings.
Opposite him stood a girl, blushing as she listened.
After the boy finished singing, he approached the girl, whispered something, and the girl, excited and flushed, embraced him.
There were no teachers in the auditorium at the moment, just students who applauded and cheered.
Tang Huaijin also clapped along, turned to Bai Yuerou, and said, “Looks like the confession was successful…”
Bai Yuerou clapped gently, nodded at his words, and looked at the couple in the center with eyes full of envy, softly saying, “Yes, it’s really enviable.”
Tang Huaijin felt awkward hearing this, opened his mouth but didn’t know what to say.
Seeing Tang Huaijin’s thoughts, Bai Yuerou smiled gently and said, “Oh, didn’t I tell you not to feel guilty? I’m already happy you agreed to host with me. Don’t think too much, okay?”
The more understanding Bai Yuerou was, the worse Tang Huaijin felt, always thinking about how to make up for it, so she wouldn’t feel regretful.
Tang Huaijin smiled bitterly, nodded, and said nothing.
Leaving school, Tang Huaijin was unusually silent, while Bai Yuerou kept finding topics to chat with him.
Getting into her Maybach, Bai Yuerou turned to Tang Huaijin and curiously asked, “Jin, aren’t you coming?”
“Mm, I have something to do.” Tang Huaijin smiled and said, “Not today, you go ahead.”
Bai Yuerou didn’t ask where he was going, just smiled and nodded, “Alright, I’ll go then. Good luck tomorrow!”
Waving goodbye to Bai Yuerou, watching the Maybach drive away, Tang Huaijin sighed, stood hesitantly for a moment, and dialed a number.
