My Heart Is Drawn to Jade - Chapter 1
Sharp fangs pierced my neck. Warm blood flowed into his mouth, and beside my ear I could hear him swallowing greedily.
The man lifted his head with a satisfied sigh.
“Little human, your blood smells so good…”
Moonlight slanted through the window, illuminating the man above me.
He had long, silvery-white hair and a face of almost extravagant beauty, at once regal and wickedly alluring. A hint of red glimmered in his violet-and-gold eyes. Even the corner of his mouth was stained scarlet.
He was devastating.
That face was why I hadn’t resisted. I could only stare at him, utterly absorbed.
He lowered his head again to lick the wounds on my neck. His fangs sank in, and fresh blood welled up.
All the while, we were doing the most intimate thing two people could do.
I held him around the waist and let him have his way.

Much of his weight rested on me. His distinctive snowbell scent mingled with the sweet, metallic smell of blood.
For certain reasons, my body healed exceptionally fast. Right now, though, it couldn’t replenish my blood as quickly as he was drinking it.
My vision began to darken. Dizziness, numbness, and the chill of blood loss tangled with overwhelming pleasure. I felt as though I’d been tossed into soft, freezing clouds, only to be seared by fire again and again.
My thoughts slipped away.
He threaded his fingers tightly through mine. I tilted my head back without meaning to, trembling sounds escaping my throat.
The man above me stopped feeding and gently licked the punctures in my neck.
He didn’t stop moving.
He kissed my ear softly.
“Little human, remember my name. Vansern Sihe.”
