My Days with the Villainous Crown Prince - Chapter 2
Chapter 2
Qi Lin and I had been meal buddies for half a year.
I’d been feeding him for that long, too. His scrawny figure had become the sort that looked lean in clothes but muscular without them, complete with an eight-pack.
We were spending more and more time together.
I had a feeling Qi Lin was showing off for me like a peacock spreading its tail.
I had two pieces of evidence.
First, he performed an impressive sword routine in front of me every day.
Second, whenever he finished, he lifted the hem of his clothes to wipe the sweat from his face, exposing his sharply defined abs.
Sometimes, if I wasn’t looking his way, he deliberately walked over before wiping his face, practically shoving those abs into mine.
Every time, I pushed his abs away and told him:
“Don’t do that. We’re strictly meal buddies.”
Very soon, however, I ate my own words.
In April, I’d asked Qi Lin to bring me green plums and strong liquor, and put up a jar of plum wine.
Plum wine was best drunk after steeping for at least six months.
Today, in October, I brought out the wine I’d steeped for half a year and invited Qi Lin to taste it with me.
After a few little cups, I was slightly tipsy and rather dazed.
Beside me, Qi Lin stole closer and pecked my lips.
I turned to look at the person who had sneaked a kiss.
He blushed.
I was the one who’d been kissed. What was he blushing for?
Besides, his lips smelled lovely—of plum wine.
I wanted another taste.
So I leaned over, held him down, and bit him.
Things developed from there: I nibbled him, he nibbled me. Mutual nibbling all around.
In the end, I came off slightly worse.
Annoyed at losing the upper hand, I pulled open his clothes on the spot and nibbled my way down from his neck.
Then the battlefield moved from the stone table in the hall to my bed.
When I woke again, Qi Lin was clutching the quilt and staring at me with tearful eyes.
“Last night, you were the one who took my clothes off first. And you were the one who first… who first had your way with me. You took my innocence. You have to take responsibility.”
I didn’t tend to black out after drinking, so I remembered everything that had happened last night quite clearly.
Although Qi Lin had stolen the first kiss, it was just as he said: I’d been the first to start pulling off clothes.
I’d even been on top at first, taking his innocence.
Only afterward had he turned the tables, leaving me begging for mercy.
Seeing me silent for so long, Qi Lin asked in a trembling voice, “Was my body all you wanted? Now you’ve had me, you’re going to refuse to take responsibility?”
I hurried to explain. “No, it’s not that I don’t want to. But you know who I am. I’ve never been favored, but officially, I’m still the crown prince’s woman. Being with me means having an affair with the heir to the throne’s woman. If anyone discovers us, I’m afraid we’ll both be killed.”
He looked quite stunned. “The consequences would be that serious?”
“Yes,” I said solemnly. “That serious.”
He shivered beneath his little quilt. “Then what do we have to do to be together forever?”
I took his hand. “Let’s dig a tunnel. Once it’s finished, we can escape together and live happily ever after.”
Qi Lin refused. “I’m not digging.”
I was disappointed. It seemed I’d have to find another partner.
Next time, I would definitely find someone willing to dig a tunnel with me.
Then Qi Lin added, “There’s a tunnel in the Eastern Palace. We don’t have to dig our own.”
“Huh?”
