Chapter 17
“Myriad Manifestation Spirit Summoning Array?!”
The crowd was still in shock and confusion when Zen Master Du’e was the first to recognize the array.
“This array requires a Deity Transformation Stage to be used, doesn’t it? Could it be that you truly…”
As the words fell, the array was already formed, and Tianxu Terrace seemed to be enveloped in a faint spiritual glow.
Jay’s expression was mocking:
“Du’e, four hundred years have passed, and without Yunxi’s Lotus Lamp, have you still not broken through to Nascent Soul?”
The “compassion” on Du’e’s face could not suppress the jealousy and resentment in his eyes.
Bixia was even more unable to hide her anger and jealousy: “Even if Jay has entered the Deity Transformation Stage, it’s only the initial stage. The array’s foundation is weak; let’s join forces to break this array and annihilate his soul!”
“That’s right!”
The other Sect Leaders and Peak Masters immediately sat cross-legged, forming a united front centered around Du’e and Bixia to counter the array.
Jay chuckled softly:
“We’ve waited so long for this day; we can’t let Yunxi down.”
His divine sword twirled again, and the ground suddenly trembled as twelve beams of spiritual light emerged from beneath.
“Jay has borrowed the power of the Sword Sect’s twelve peak spiritual veins to strengthen the array! Is this even possible?” The crowd below Tianxu Terrace was shocked.
On the terrace, Du’e and the others immediately felt a heavy weight on their shoulders, as if something was drawing spiritual power from their bodies.
An hour later, the Peak Masters and elders with lower cultivation levels were drenched in sweat, some even spitting blood.
Two hours later, Bixia suddenly screamed:
“Ah! My hair, my beauty!”
Her once proud black hair had turned half-white, and wrinkles rapidly spread across her face.
“Bixia, hold on, Jay’s condition isn’t much better than ours!” Du’e said, his breath unsteady.
Jay’s condition was indeed not easy.
His eyes were slightly closed, his face pale, clearly overexerting his spiritual power to fight against so many Nascent Soul cultivators.
I was trapped in the ruined hall, witnessing all this, anxious yet believing in Jay.
His appearance hadn’t changed, indicating he was still holding on.
Once he kills all those who harmed Miss Yunxi, his spiritual power will be exhausted, and the array confining me will naturally fail. I can then fly over and take him away.
His cultivation and lifespan will likely be severely damaged, but it’s okay; I will protect him. Given a few hundred years, he will surely be able to cultivate back.
My judgment was correct.
The faces of those Sect Leaders and Peak Masters showed increasing pain and fear, their hair turning white faster, even Du’e’s skin wrinkling more unsightly.
But just then, dark clouds suddenly rose in the sky, and a fierce Yin Sha energy, carrying the force of thunder, struck heavily at Jay’s array!
I was so shocked I nearly lost my soul–
Qing Xuan?!
