Summary
Song Ziguang, the legitimate son of the Duke of Weiguo, stole Miss Zeng-the woman I had been betrothed to for ages. Consumed by rage, I disguised myself as a woman and resolved to deliberately get close to him. My goal was to ruin his reputation and sabotage his engagement to my darling white moonlight. Once the deed was done, I slipped away, thoroughly satisfied with myself. Afterward, I heard everyone gossiping, saying that Song Ziguang was a true romantic. Apparently, he was deeply in love with a girl; not only had he called off the wedding for her, but he was also searching for her across the entire capital. Three months later, the new officials at the Ministry of Rites took office. As I looked up and saw Song Ziguang staring fixedly at me with dark, complex eyes, I began to tremble with guilt.
