Summary
In the fifth year of our marriage, I asked Zhao Jingqian for a divorce.
He found it ridiculous.
“Just because I gave someone else a lipstick?”
I nodded solemnly. “Yes.”
Zhao Jingqian frowned helplessly and said,
“You already have so many. Can’t I give just one lipstick to someone else?”
“Stop it. Tomorrow I’ll buy you ten, okay?”
We were childhood sweethearts, always loving and harmonious. He was sure I would never give up on our marriage.
Unfortunately, I can’t tolerate even a grain of sand in my eyes.
Lipstick and a husband cannot be shared.
