Summary
To pay off my debts, I decided to sell myself.
Day one, the manager said, “Tonight you’ve got a VVIP. He’s a clean freak, has a short fuse, and doesn’t touch anyone.”
Then the door opened, and it was my ex-boyfriend, who I hadn’t seen in three years.
He was leaning against the sofa, a mocking look on his face. “Life’s been that rough? You’re actually selling your body?”
I scoffed. “I’m a legitimate professional. I’ve got a work ethic.”
He pulled out a black card. “I’ll hire you for the month. Do my laundry, cook my meals, and coax me to sleep.”
I breathed a sigh of relief. So it wasn’t that.
He smirked. “Don’t worry, I won’t force you. Unless you offer it yourself.”
Me: “!!!”
