Gu Huaichen and I went from school uniforms to wedding gowns.
Five years into our marriage, he used cold violence to force me into a divorce.
I dragged my feet, refusing to leave.
Until I saw him and my best friend walking out of a hotel together.
I finally signed the divorce papers.
After the divorce, I stumbled upon their wedding photos online.
She captioned it: [I was once your bridesmaid, today I am your bride.]
I stared at the screen, stunned.
Lowering my head, I asked the man beneath me:
“This time, why didn’t you go be his best man?”
The man gripped my waist, letting out a soft, mocking laugh.
“I have no interest in this bride.”
