- Chapter 107 - Dare to Detain My Woman?! 3
“What’s the Chu Family compared to me? Daring to lock up my woman, huh?”
Li Juefeng’s fist landed again, and the policeman spat blood instantly.
Gu Xiaoai had never seen Li Juefeng this ruthless before. The murderous aura on his face seemed capable of ending lives without hesitation.
Compared to this, his attitude toward her could almost be described as “kind and gentle.”
The Chief and several men who looked like officials pretended not to see anything, casually chatting among themselves.
“Mr. Li, please spare us… We really didn’t know…”
The two policemen, now beaten to a pulp, knelt on the ground, crying and begging for mercy.
If they had known this woman belonged to Li Juefeng, they’d never have dared to lock her up-not even in their wildest dreams!
The Chu Family might be powerful, but compared to the Li Family, they were nothing more than a side dish.
“Spare you? Did you think about sparing anyone when you locked her up?” Li Juefeng sneered as if he’d just heard the funniest joke. A cruel smirk played on his lips.
Another kick landed, his polished black leather shoe striking one policeman’s shoulder. The man collapsed to the ground, unconscious, his face pale as death.
“Stop it, don’t hit them anymore…” Gu Xiaoai couldn’t help but stand up and shout.
Was he seriously planning to kill someone right here in the police station?
Li Juefeng whipped his head around, his cold gaze slicing through her. The hostility in his eyes sent a chill down her spine.
That single look made her suddenly feel that the man in front of her… was a stranger.
Her understanding of Li Juefeng-how much did she truly know about him? Perhaps not even ten percent.
The ruthlessness in him, the icy cruelty, and the deeper cold-bloodedness buried in his very bones-she had never truly grasped any of it.
“I… I…” Gu Xiaoai bit her lip, hesitating as she pointed to the wound on her elbow. “I think I need to disinfect this first.”
“Got it.”
Li Juefeng’s eyes darkened as he responded coldly. He strode toward her, but then, as if unwilling to let things go, he abruptly turned back and struck another on-duty policeman kneeling on the ground with a swift chop.
“Ah…” The man cried out in pain before collapsing, unconscious.
Blood slowly pooled beneath the two men.
Gu Xiaoai stared in shock, her eyes wide.
In that moment, she almost believed Li Juefeng had killed them.
“Mr. Li.” A bodyguard stepped forward, offering a clean handkerchief obsequiously. “Leave this kind of dirty work to us.”
Li Juefeng took the handkerchief and wiped his hands. From his thin lips came a single, icy word: “Get out.”
