Supreme Rogue Play in Another World - Chapter 30 - Internal Discipline
Boss Guan’s eyes were bloodshot as he roared, emitting a strange sound from his throat like an enraged beast. His gaze swept over the people around him continuously, while the sharp dagger in his hand slowly rose.
“Everyone, be careful! Let’s attack together; I don’t believe we can’t handle him!” Wei-Ge said as he quickly retreated a few steps and swiftly took out his phone to make a call.
Boss Guan was over six feet tall, and his weight was roughly proportionate to his height. The dagger, though somewhat disproportionate to his massive frame, twirled deftly in his hand, making it impossible for anyone to approach him.
“Boss Guan, let’s talk this over. There’s no need to resort to violence,” Boss Liang said, feeling a bit bewildered by the situation. He was aware of Boss Guan’s prowess, having witnessed his ability to rise to power within a sports academy filled with strong and capable students. Imagining such strength was daunting. He had heard of Third Zhuang, a notoriously powerful monster, but if he had to compare the two, Boss Liang estimated that their strengths were evenly matched.
“Damn it, I can’t explain my way out of this, so let’s do it this way. Either way, I’m dead; I might as well take you down first and then escape with the thirty thousand. If you’ve set a trap for me, I’ll just follow along. Now, who’s going to be the first to die?” Boss Guan roared maliciously, clearly determined to go for broke.
“Come on, wasn’t that your original plan? Take us down, escape with the thirty thousand, and then hire a few hitmen to clean up?” Boss Cao sneered with a forced smile, glancing at the men he had brought with him. He wasn’t sure if they could handle this crazed beast.
“Why not make it simple? Let me go, and I promise not to touch you. Wei-Ge, you’ve already reported this to the big boss, right? Hmm…” Boss Guan’s face was drenched as he saw Wei-Ge hang up the phone with a grim expression. Gritting his teeth, he said, “Either give me a way out, or we’ll die together. Hurry up, move aside before the big boss’s people get here!”
Wei-Ge remained silent with a stern face, and several students were already blocking the doorway. Although they were very afraid of the knife in Boss Guan’s hand, they wouldn’t dare move without a word from their own boss, even if it meant death.
“Alright… I get it!” Boss Guan furrowed his brow, “You brought this on yourselves, you forced me!” With that, he leapt forward like an arrow, kicking a student away, then swiftly turned and swung his dagger. Blood spattered as another student, attempting a sneak attack, clutched his abdomen and fell into a pool of blood.
Blood dripped steadily from the edge of the dagger as Boss Guan spat on the ground, turning his gaze toward the other bosses.
“That’s enough, Guan Hu! Stop now!” Wei-Ge spoke coldly. Before Boss Guan could respond, Wei-Ge had already pulled out a black gun, pressing it against Boss Guan’s forehead.
“You… how do you have a gun?” The other three bosses were startled.
Wei-Ge scoffed. He had owned this gun for a while, initially thinking he wouldn’t need it. But after last night’s drama involving Run Tiancheng, he had slept with the gun by his side. “The big boss just gave orders that, until his people arrive, Boss Guan, you are to stay here, or face the consequences. I really don’t want my first kill to be my own brother, so don’t make it hard for me!”
Boss Guan suddenly laughed, “Brother? Sounds so nice, huh? Fine, go ahead and shoot, let’s see who can stop me today!” With a resolute heart, he spun his dagger again, ready to drive it into Wei-Ge’s heart just as Wei-Ge fired.
“Enough! Stop!” A loud shout came from the doorway as a dozen men in black suits and sunglasses entered. One similarly dressed man with long hair followed behind, and it was he who had yelled.
“Sun-Ge, you’re here!” The student bosses quickly bowed to greet this man.
The man slightly nodded and walked casually to Wei-Ge, tapping the gun with his hand. Wei-Ge immediately understood and put the gun away.
This man, known as Sun-Ge, was Sun Hai, a trusted aide of Ge Long. Over the years, Sun Hai handled almost all of Ge Long’s illicit affairs. Recently, when Zhao Qiang, the villain boss of Guangfu Road, suddenly disappeared, it was also Sun Hai’s doing. He was notorious for his cunning and ruthlessness, with unpredictable strength.
“Guan Hu, I hear you’ve done something to displease the big boss?” Sun Hai spoke to Guan Hu while gesturing to his men, who quickly carried out a student who had been stabbed, rushing him to the hospital for emergency treatment. After all, causing a fatality in his own venue would be too damaging for business. The ultimate owners of this amusement center were none other than Sun Hai, Boss Cao and Boss Gu, these two who merely oversaw the operation as watchdogs.
“Sun-Ge, even with your presence today, I won’t give you face. Death is inevitable either way, so if you want to make a move, go ahead!” Knowing his end was near, Guan Hu casually threw his dagger to the ground, abandoning any futile resistance.
“I wouldn’t be so disappointing. After all, Guan Hu, you’ve not only worked hard but also suffered. You’ve dedicated so much time to the big boss, it’s only right to give you another chance…” Sun Hai, the typical smiling tiger, made every word sound ominously comforting.
Guan Hu paused, unsure of Sun Hai’s next move, and his tone softened, “Sun-Ge… about those so-called proofs…”
“Let’s not talk about that anymore!” Sun Hai interrupted Guan Hu, slowly taking off his jacket and handing it to a henchman: “Those things don’t matter. I’m not the big boss to judge the truth of the matter. Come on, aren’t you a good fighter? If you can beat me, I’ll let you go today!”
Guan Hu couldn’t believe his ears; it almost sounded like Sun Hai was clearly letting him go. The man was shorter by a head and significantly lighter in build. While Sun Hai wasn’t bright, when it came to throwing punches, Guan Hu had never been afraid.
Just as Guan Hu was about to strike, Sun Hai suddenly rushed forward, grabbing the fist Guan Hu aimed at him and gently twisting it. A series of crisp ‘crack’ sounds came from his hand.
“Ah!” A sudden intense pain in his hand made Guan Hu scream and try to retreat, but Sun Hai grabbed his right shoulder and slid down, dislocating the arm in an instant.
The excruciating pain drove Guan Hu mad. He reached out with his left hand to grab Sun Hai’s head, but before he could apply any force, Sun Hai punched him right above the elbow of his left arm, causing it to deform instantly.
“Ah… Ah…” In an instant, both of Guan Hu’s arms were disabled, and his heart was filled with terror. He turned to run, but before he could take a step, his legs started hurting intensely, and he collapsed to the ground, completely weakened.
“Both your hands and legs are now useless. It’s a pity you didn’t seize this opportunity…” Sun Hai sneered maliciously: “This is the price of your betrayal, my internal discipline!”
