“Good morning, my love.” Xia Zhennan shifted slightly, planting a morning kiss on Zhan Niantong’s cheek.

“Good morning, hubby!” Still lazily keeping her eyes closed, the little woman enjoying the cozy morning finally opened her eyes, greeted by a familiar handsome face. Instantly, she beamed a radiant smile and leaned forward to return the kiss on his cheek.

Waking up to see you first thing in the morning and falling asleep with you as the last sight at night-that’s the simplest happiness, yet the most fulfilling.

“Darling, I have a surprise for you today!” Xia Zhennan scooped his wife up entirely, seating her on the bed, speaking with a mysterious air.

Zhan Niantong’s curiosity was piqued. “What surprise?”

“If I tell you, it wouldn’t be a surprise anymore,” he continued to tease.

“Alright, then I’ll just look forward to it!” She thought it made sense; since it’s a surprise, it should be mysterious and not revealed, or it wouldn’t achieve the effect of surprise. This way, there’s an added sense of anticipation.

Thus, a new day began with this wonderful expectation.

But, oh dear, both of them stepped into the elevator to pick up the little guy, yet the surprise was still nowhere to be seen.

Could it be that her dear husband was just pulling her leg?

Unable to resist, she asked again, “Hubby, when is this surprise supposed to happen?”

Beside the Beetle stood a man dressed in a crescent-white casual outfit. His head was shaved, one foot planted on the ground, the other bent resting on the Beetle’s black wheel, striking a pose he thought was perfect. Upon seeing them, he flashed a dazzling smile, revealing a set of gleaming white teeth, and tossed over a set of keys, calling out, “Boss, sister-in-law, here’s your wedding gift.”

Zhan Niantong was completely stunned by this big surprise, standing there dumbfounded as she gazed at the adorably explosive Beetle in front of her. Her eyes were practically sparkling with pink bubbles, and her cherry-like lips were agape, too shocked to speak. It was her dear husband who gently took her hand and placed the keys in her palm, his rich voice teasing lightly from above, “Wife, you’re so mesmerized you’re speechless!”

Finally snapping back to reality, Zhan Niantong turned to her beloved husband, her expression still dazed and silly. Her adorable demeanor was a perfect match for the pink Beetle. “Eldest senior brother, is it really for us?”

“Of course!” Xia Zhennan couldn’t resist ruffling her silly little head. He seemed to have a particular fondness for his wife’s endearing, kitten-like demeanor. He often found himself treating her like a cherished pet, unable to resist her overwhelming cuteness.

Earlier, when he decided to open a branch in America and planned to have Yixiang manage it, he thought Yixiang might not have much time to drive them to and from school. So, he considered buying a car for his wife and enrolling her in a driving course. Little did he know she could already drive, and quite well too. According to Jun Wuya, she could even race cars, thanks to her friendship with her second senior brother, who was a racer.

“It’s not your fault; I just never mentioned it!” Zhan Niantong, understanding the situation, didn’t blame her husband. Xia Zhennan wrapped his arm around his wife’s shoulder and suggested, “How about we take this car to pick up Xiaomai?”

A new car should be taken out for a spin, and although his tall frame seemed a bit mismatched with the cute little car, he was eager to see his wife behind the wheel. He considered riding in the adorable Beetle a delightful experience.

This suggestion was exactly what she wanted. With her own car, her desire to drive was like an arrow ready to fly. If she had to wait any longer, she’d be stifled. So, she agreed with great enthusiasm and joy, “Sure!”

“Go try it out,” he encouraged, seeing her excitement and impatience. He led her toward the cute little car, completely forgetting about the bald-headed friend who had come early to deliver their wedding gift.

Seeing the couple getting into the car and settling into their seats without calling him, Jun Wuya hurried over, feeling anxious. “Hey, don’t leave me behind!”

The shameless man lowered the window, raised an eyebrow, and said, “We’re going to pick up our little darling. This car is too small to fit you. Catch a cab back, see you!”

Being a child, she loved showing off among her peers. The first thing she thought of was the envious looks from her friends, and she reveled in it!

After jumping around, she started circling the cute little car, admiring it, touching it, hugging it, and playing to her heart’s content.
