My Sister Is Acting Strange - Chapter 48 - Holiday
As expected by Tang Huaijin, Shen Yiqiu entered the classroom through the back door and, upon seeing the three sitting together, immediately frowned and called Xia Xinya out for a talk.
After a short while, Xinya returned, her face beaming with a smile, skipping back to her seat.
Bai Yuerou asked worriedly, “Xinya, what did the teacher say?”
“The teacher agreed!” Xinya replied cheerfully.
“Isn’t Teacher Shen quite strict?” Yuerou continued, not noticing Huaijin’s peculiar expression. “How did you get her to agree?”
“It was simple. I just told her how lonely and isolated Tang Huaijin was,” Xinya explained with a twinkle in her eye.
“…?” Huaijin was taken aback, looking at Yuerou in confusion, seeking an explanation.
Yuerou was equally puzzled by her best friend’s words and asked, “Xinya, what are you talking about? What do you mean?”
Xinya glanced at Huaijin, quickly realizing that he was embarrassed and didn’t want to reveal his vulnerable side in front of others. She understood perfectly and didn’t want to make things difficult for him.
With an expression that said “I get you,” Xinya winked at Huaijin and casually said to Yuerou, “Oh, it’s nothing. Anyway, isn’t the outcome good?”
Yuerou nodded, somewhat understanding, but still surprised that Shen Yiqiu had agreed to the arrangement.
Shortly after Xinya returned, Shen Yiqiu also entered through the back door. Her gaze lingered on the trio for a moment before she stepped onto the podium.
“Quiet down, please,” she said, calming the slightly noisy atmosphere in the classroom. “I know you’re all excited since tomorrow marks the start of the holiday. I’m here to talk about the National Day break.”
Rose Elite High School had a four-day holiday, one day more than regular high schools, starting from tomorrow.
Then came the usual reminders about safety and such, which, though tedious, were necessary. Shen Yiqiu recited them fluently as if reading from a script.
After finishing, she glanced at the eager students and then at the time, finally allowing them to leave.
The students cheered, grabbing their packed bags and rushing out of the school.
Tang Huaijin left the school with the two girls.
Xia Xinya was excitedly holding Bai Yuerou’s hand, discussing plans for the National Day holiday.
Yuerou listened with a gentle smile and then looked at Huaijin, asking, “Jin, what are your plans for the holiday?”
Xinya, curious, also turned to Huaijin.
With his backpack slung over his shoulder, Huaijin thought for a moment before replying, “I don’t have any plans. I’ll be visiting the cemetery on National Day.”
Hearing him mention his parents, Yuerou gave him a concerned look and softly suggested, “After visiting the cemetery, would you like to join us for some fun, maybe go shopping?”
Xinya realized that despite everything that had happened between her and Huaijin, she knew little about his personal life, except that he had a sister. She remained silent as Yuerou extended the invitation.
“Um…” Huaijin hesitated before saying, “Let’s see. If you plan to go out, let me know on WeChat, and I’ll see if I have time.”
Last Qingming Festival, his sister had cried a lot at the cemetery, and Huaijin had stayed with her for a long time. He was a bit worried about her and wanted to spend more time with her.
“Alright then.” Yuerou wasn’t too disappointed by his non-committal response. After bidding the two farewell with a smile, she got into her family’s car.
Xia Xinya watched as Tang Huaijin took slow steps towards the bus stop and said with a hint of exasperation, “Stop pretending. You don’t walk that slowly. Get in the car; I’ll have someone drive you home.”
Tang Huaijin wasn’t embarrassed at being called out. He smiled and thanked her, then was driven home by the Xia Family’s bodyguard.
As they arrived at Tang Huaijin’s residential area, Xia Xinya glanced around and remarked, “You live here? It looks a bit rundown.”
Although Tang Huaijin’s neighborhood wasn’t brand new, it wasn’t exactly rundown either. Of course, compared to the Xia Family’s villa, it was worlds apart, so her curiosity was understandable.
Knowing Xia Xinya meant no harm and was merely curious, Tang Huaijin couldn’t help but roll his eyes and said, “Even if it’s rundown, it’s still home. A place with family is what makes it home.”
Xia Xinya’s expression dimmed slightly at his words, and she let out a laugh that seemed almost mocking, “Family?”
“Yeah, family is the most important. If you have no family in this world, that’s true loneliness,” Tang Huaijin said, looking towards his home as if he could see the gentle figure busy in the kitchen, his eyes filled with warmth.
In this world, his sister was his only family. Their parents were gone, but as long as his sister was there, he had a place to call home.
After saying this, he couldn’t wait to see his sister. He bid farewell to Xia Xinya, opened the car door, and ran into the neighborhood.
Xia Xinya watched his retreating figure and murmured to herself, “I don’t need family. Friends are enough for me.”
…
Opening the door and returning home, Tang Huaijin followed the aroma of food into the kitchen. Just as he expected, his sister was there, wearing an apron and cooking.
One of the things Tang Huaijin and Tang Yaoyao loved most was hugging each other while the other was cooking. The feeling of opening the door to find someone waiting at home was wonderful. The siblings had leaned on each other to get through the toughest times.
Tang Huaijin hugged his sister tightly, burying his head in her soft, fragrant hair, inhaling her scent greedily. “Sis, I missed you,” he said.
“Mm-hmm, I’m making something delicious for you, to celebrate Jin’s vacation,” Tang Yaoyao said, her peach blossom eyes narrowing gently with a smile on her lips.
“Sister…” Tang Huaijin wrapped his arms around his sister’s waist, using his nose to brush aside the stray hairs at the nape of Tang Yaoyao’s neck, planting a couple of light kisses on her snow-white skin.
The back of her neck had always been a sensitive spot for Tang Yaoyao. The gentle kisses from her brother sent a warm, tingling sensation through her, making her body feel weak. A pretty blush crept up her ears as she wriggled slightly, murmuring softly, “It tickles…”
Yaoyao’s soft whispers and the subtle movements of her body made Tang Huaijin’s breathing grow heavier. He trailed kisses up to her lips, and seeing that she didn’t resist, he gently nibbled and tugged at her soft lips.
“Mmm…”
With her lips sealed by her brother’s, a mix of forbidden thrill and sweetness swirled within Tang Yaoyao, making her unable to stand properly. She leaned softly against Tang Huaijin, responding clumsily.
Sensing Huaijin’s hand on her waist beginning to wander upwards, Yaoyao suddenly tilted her head back, placing her delicate hand over his approaching mouth, her eyes dreamy as she whispered, “No…”
Tang Huaijin, of course, wouldn’t force his sister. He suppressed the fire within him, resting his face against her neck again, teasing, “You’re so warm…”
“Don’t say that, you rascal.” Yaoyao’s face was burning hot as she lightly pinched the hand on her waist. “Go on, I need to cook.”
“Alright, just ten more seconds.”
Yaoyao didn’t respond, letting him hold her as she absentmindedly stirred the food in the pan with a spatula, completely forgetting what ingredient to add next.
After a while, her cheeks flushed, she managed to squeeze out a few words.
“You’re poking me…”
“Oh…”
A moment later…
“Why haven’t you moved away yet…” Feeling her brother’s increasingly heated breath, Yaoyao’s delicate body grew even warmer, trembling slightly as her already rosy skin deepened in color.
“Jin~~~ don’t~~~~” she murmured weakly, like a soft whisper in her sleep.
Seeing that his sister in his arms wasn’t resisting, Tang Huaijin grew bolder, his hands around her becoming more daring.
His warm right hand slipped under her shirt, gliding along her smooth skin upwards. As Tang Yaoyao’s body began to glisten with a fine sheen of sweat, exuding a faint kiwi scent, Huaijin’s fingers soon encountered resistance, the curves becoming dramatically steep. Without hesitation, he deftly unhooked the clasp between the two soft mounds, causing a visible ripple beneath her blouse.
“Sis~~” he murmured, lowering his head to gently suck on her earlobe, which was as delicate as a jade pearl. His left hand wasn’t idle either, slowly inching below her navel…
“Ah~~ Jin…” Yaoyao’s body trembled more violently, accompanied by faint moans, her breath fragrant like orchids. Realizing her brother’s left hand had ventured to the edge of the forbidden zone, she quickly clamped her smooth, round thighs together, “Stop~~ Jin~~ good brother~~ I can’t stand anymore~~~ ah~~~ ha~~~” Her moans grew increasingly alluring.
Tang Huaijin remained undeterred, continuing his exploration of his sister’s mysterious territory. His fingers trembled slightly as they brushed against Tang Yaoyao’s sparse hair, then ventured further down, past a slightly raised patch of grass, suddenly encountering a smooth, moist crevice, tightly closed as if awaiting his touch.
His right hand covered the large mound on his sister’s chest, thumb and forefinger gently pinching a firm little nub. Meanwhile, his left hand caressed the area above the valley, the overwhelming sensuality pulling Tang Huaijin deeper into the moment.
Perhaps feeling the heat of her brother’s fervent hands, Tang Yaoyao’s eyes regained a hint of clarity. She clamped her thighs tighter, preventing the mischievous hand from delving further. Detecting a faint burnt smell, she parted her lips slightly, “Mmm… Jin… Sister is still cooking… You can’t be naughty anymore… The food will burn…” With that, she put down the spatula and removed Tang Huaijin’s hands from her body.
Realizing he might have gone too far, Tang Huaijin mischievously held his left hand up to his sister’s face, revealing a few strands of unknown liquid glistening between his fingers under the light. Tang Yaoyao’s cheeks flushed a deep crimson, like a sunset. Seeing her embarrassment, Tang Huaijin stopped teasing, gently wiping the liquid on her lips before retreating from the kitchen.
…
Dinner, unsurprisingly, wasn’t very appetizing. The heat had been too high, especially for the stir-fried beef with chili peppers, which were slightly charred.
Yet, Tang Huaijin, eyes half-closed with delight, devoured the meal as if it were a feast, savoring every bite, particularly attacking the plate of spicy beef.
Seeing his antics, Tang Yaoyao’s face turned red with a mix of anger and amusement. “Don’t eat so much that you upset your stomach. Isn’t it bitter? It looks a bit burnt to me.”
“I don’t mind, it’s not bitter at all, it’s quite sweet,” Tang Huaijin replied with a grin, praising each bite of chili with a satisfied hum.
Noticing his sister’s shyness had caused her to barely eat, Tang Huaijin stopped teasing and casually said, “The day after tomorrow is October 1st. Let’s visit Mom and Dad’s graves, okay, sis?”
The blush on Tang Yaoyao’s face faded, and she hesitated, “Didn’t we just visit during Qingming?”
“Yes, but it’s been a while. We should go see them,” Tang Huaijin said, his eyes filled with nostalgia. Their parents had been wonderful to them. Their father was a principled yet flexible man, and their mother was incredibly gentle, never once raising a hand against him. Tang Yaoyao’s current demeanor was much like their mother’s.
“Alright,” Tang Yaoyao agreed reluctantly, stuffing a mouthful of rice into her mouth.
