My Girlfriend's a Monster - Chapter 34
Time ticked by, and Luo Ke knew Zhong Qingxiao had finished his shower. Yet, the sound of running water continued, her dear wife was standing at the sink, lost in thought.
He was indeed avoiding her.
Is species really that crucial to humans? Hadn’t she crossed species boundaries to resolutely choose Zhong Qingxiao?
Luo Ke squinted with a smile, though the warmth in her eyes grew colder.
Tonight, she must get an answer.
She wouldn’t wait any longer.
After another half hour, the bathroom door finally creaked open. Luo Ke didn’t turn around; the curtains were left open tonight, allowing her an unobstructed view of the nightscape outside.
How sad, she thought. In the past, looking out from this window, she could see the colorful neon lights, the city adorned beautifully with lights.
But now, only the stars remained, the lights were gone.
Zhong Qingxiao’s hair was almost dry, and he was dressed impeccably, standing by the bed, gazing at Luo Ke’s back. The room was lit only by a bedside lamp, casting shadows that resembled seaweed-like tentacles throughout the room.
Luo Ke was a monster.
Yet… she was a monster who liked wearing dresses, a monster who carefully chose gifts for him, a monster who gently comforted him, a monster with a kind personality.
“Xiao Ke, can you give me a little more time?” Zhong Qingxiao spoke, his tone serious. Since their encounter at the building today, Luo Ke hadn’t heard him speak to her with his previous gentle and pleasant voice.
She grew a bit impatient, it was simply impossible.
Zhong Qingxiao was pulled by the shadows, and the next moment, he was lifted and thrown heavily onto the bed. The mattress was soft, but when his head hit it, he couldn’t help but feel dazed.
Cold, slimy tentacles tightened around his neck, each suction cup acutely sensitive, she could feel the pulse of his carotid artery.
Even so, Luo Ke was somewhat reluctant to exert force. She merely encircled Zhong Qingxiao, watching him struggle in discomfort.
“Don’t you think I’ve given you too much time?” Luo Ke stood by the bed, her fingers slender and long, like perfect works of art, now tracing down Zhong Qingxiao’s throat.
She reached for his collar, teasing the part of his clothing in her favorite color, each stroke eliciting a slight shiver from him.
“Zhong Qingxiao, didn’t you say you liked me?” Luo Ke tightened her grip, hearing a low hum as she wished, “Not getting married anymore?”
“No, Xiao Ke.” Zhong Qingxiao was touched by her cold fingers. Why was his girlfriend always so cold? Now he understood the reason. Zhong Qingxiao explained, “I didn’t want to distance myself because you’re a monster. I just need time to accept it. I can’t right now… Can you…”
His eyes slowly met Luo Ke’s gaze, filled with sincerity, his reserved demeanor truly captivated Luo Ke.
“Can you accommodate me a little?” Zhong Qingxiao asked softly.
Accommodate him a little…
Ah, his voice softened again, like before… Luo Ke instinctively withdrew her tentacles that restrained him, unable to resist leaning on his chest to ask, “Can I still kiss you?”
Zhong Qingxiao pressed his lips tightly, instinctively tense, and answered quietly, “As long as you don’t use your tongue.”
Tsk, he took back his privilege again, but Luo Ke was amused by his demeanor. She responded, “You also need to answer me about mating.”
Zhong Qingxiao nodded.
So obedient, he was really obedient. Oh, actually, as a wife, Zhong Qingxiao was already perfect. See, he accepted her so quickly!
She knew her previous disguise was successful; Zhong Qingxiao was completely in love with her.
“Can I still suck?” Luo Ke leaned down, planting a kiss on his soft lips. She loved this warm script, it made her very happy, extremely happy, filled with the urge to embrace him, unable to restrain herself.
So she hugged Zhong Qingxiao, staring at him intently.
Dark and deep, eyes were the hardest part for humans to replicate. Luo Ke had always struggled with them. Anyone who stared into her eyes for too long would inevitably feel fear.
There was absolutely no light in them, like two soulless abysses.
Zhong Qingxiao swallowed, feeling a sense of dread-if he didn’t agree now, he might be devoured by the monster before him.
Monster, he was utterly convinced of his girlfriend’s nature, a fear born from survival instinct made him tremble.
Yet Zhong Qingxiao nodded.
No difference, she had already done that. Zhong Qingxiao felt scared, fearing the consequences of denial, fearing eye contact with his girlfriend. He instinctively shifted his gaze, gradually covering his eyes with his arm.
The act of exposing his chest seemed like an invitation to Luo Ke. She chuckled, a completely natural laugh, an unconscious flow of emotion that always made Luo Ke pause.
Monsters don’t laugh.
But she really liked Zhong Qingxiao, she must, must, must completely have him.
With her True Form, completely possess him.
Clothes were undone, the cold breath made Zhong Qingxiao instinctively close his eyes. The sizzling sound echoed in his ears, yet the symbol of desire remained silent, he didn’t know how many times he clenched his teeth.
Rejecting? Strongly rejecting, this rejection came from physiology. Even though Zhong Qingxiao was trying hard to convince himself, he really wasn’t in the mood tonight to welcome and endure his mentally strong girlfriend.
Girlfriend, his fiancée, was actually a monster.
Wasn’t it nothing surprising? Nothing surprising…
Even Luo Ke could feel Zhong Qingxiao’s tension from what was in her mouth. She looked up, watching her dear wife’s every move, but he covered his eyes, she couldn’t see his expression.
Teeth clashed heavily, Zhong Qingxiao cried out in pain, yet he still didn’t remove his hand from his eyes.
Luo Ke rose, caressing him, leaving delicate red marks on his fair skin, Zhong Qingxiao remained silent.
She found her dear wife’s reaction novel, she felt she had indulged enough, and without a word, she slipped under the covers, hugging Zhong Qingxiao from behind, her palm unconsciously tracing circles on his belly.
Each touch made Zhong Qingxiao shiver, his girlfriend’s actions made him feel she was selecting a suitable vessel. His mind suddenly flooded with the image of the monster he encountered today at the building, its abdomen bulging, not knowing what was inside.
Zhong Qingxiao’s body trembled slightly.
“Don’t be afraid.” Luo Ke sensed Zhong Qingxiao’s emotional field. That monster had been killed by her, there was no need to fear anymore. She cherished her dear wife, planting a kiss on his back, contentedly closing her eyes.
That night, Luo Ke forgot to weave dreams, Luo Meihua slept restlessly, while Zhong Qingxiao remained awake all night.
When the sunlight streamed through the window onto his face the next morning, he had regained his normal demeanor. Outside, the giant spider monster still crawled back and forth, like a bizarre spectacle. Zhong Qingxiao watched it come and go, without any emotional fluctuation, as if it were merely a fly passing by.
The weather brightened earlier and earlier, at 5:39, the sun was already shining brightly.
A whole night of mental struggle had calmed Zhong Qingxiao completely. He sat up, gently removing Luo Ke’s hand from his waist.
“Where are you going?” Luo Ke opened her eyes.
“It’s time to make breakfast.” Zhong Qingxiao turned, smiling at Luo Ke from the side, “Xiao Ke, is there anything you want to eat?”
“Anything is fine.” Luo Ke curled her lips, it seemed he had completely accepted her, how wonderful, her dear wife.
“You decide.” She even proactively nudged Zhong Qingxiao, then got up and headed to the bathroom.
Zhong Qingxiao took a deep breath, maintaining a calm expression as he left the room and entered the kitchen. She didn’t like eggs; she only liked meat.
He had brought back some beef, but not much. With her appetite, it would last at most two weeks. If… the meat ran out?
She ate meat, was she suppressing her true nature? Would she… eat humans?
Zhong Qingxiao suddenly snapped back to reality, shaking his head to dispel the chaotic thoughts, focusing on preparing breakfast.
No, she was kind, she wouldn’t.
