“Ah!” I screamed, dropping the lipstick and mirror.

I wanted to run, but Bai Xiaotian lunged at me, pinning me down on the bed.

“I treated you so well, why do you keep leaving? It was like this ten years ago, and it’s the same now. Do you know how much I love you? I almost dug my heart out for you, what more do you want from me?”

Bai Xiaotian screamed wildly, like a mother cow that had been holding back for years and was now furious.

I felt her icy breath, and her heart-wrenching expression shocked me.

This was the face of a woman in utter despair!

“Bai-Jie, we’re from different worlds, please don’t haunt me anymore, let me go…” I stammered, my voice trembling with tears.

“You say I’m haunting you? You promised to be with me forever, and according to the rules of Miao Land, we must be together!” Bai Xiaotian said, her face starting to distort, as if she was about to devour me.

I tried to kick her off, but her strength was overwhelming, pressing down on me like a steel plate.

“Help, help…” I cried out weakly, feeling my life slipping away.

Just then, someone burst through the door, wielding a blood-stained axe, and charged at Bai Xiaotian.

It was the murderer husband!

“Bang!” The axe hit her like it struck a rock and bounced back.

“You scoundrel, you’ve ruined my plans again and again, I’ll kill you!” Bai Xiaotian turned and lunged at him.

They began to grapple with each other.

I lay on the bed, gasping for air.

“Damn it, I’m about to go down, stop playing dead and open the cabinet next to you!” After just a few rounds, the murderer husband shouted.

Clearly, he wasn’t her match.

I quickly followed his instructions, opening the cabinet to find a pitch-black suit with “Groom” written in chalk on it, and a pair of glasses that looked exactly like the ones in the photo.

“What are you waiting for, put it on! I’m about to die!” The murderer husband screamed in agony.

I hurriedly put on the suit, finding it a perfect fit, and the glasses seemed tailor-made for me.

“He’s here, he’s coming…” The murderer shouted as soon as he saw me dressed up, pointing at me.

Upon hearing this, Bai Xiaotian turned around sharply, her fierce expression instantly vanished, and she slowly walked towards me.

At that moment, I felt as if the murderer had betrayed me.
