But it was too late for regrets. As Xu San continued to slap Aunt Zhu, her cries turned into silence. Her teeth were shattered, some spat out, others swallowed. Eventually, Aunt Zhu fell silent, having fainted. Her cheeks were swollen, her head resembling a pig’s, her mouth a bloody mess.

Seeing her unconscious, Xu San tossed her to the ground. Though furious, he restrained himself from killing them outright. That would be too easy a punishment for them.

“Bring them here!”

“Yes, Master!”

“Drag these two old swine away! Use medicine to keep them hanging on; they can’t die so easily! Torture them every day to ease my anger!”

Xu San spat out his orders with venom.

“Understood, Master!”

With that, the servants dragged the two away.
