Summary
Chapter 0 The Director said he loved me, but he put me on the blacklist. I’m a copywriter at an advertising agency, and I’ve followed the Director for three years. He told me, “You’re not like the others,” and I believed him. I even turned down an offer with double the salary for his sake. It wasn’t until the day of the layoffs that I realized every proposal I had ever written was submitted under his name. On his computer, the note next to my name read: “100% emotional dependency.
