Summary
My relationship with my legitimate elder sister has always been like fire and water.
In our first life, my sister saved a Little Beggar. She treated his wounds and provided him with food and clothing, and I turned around and killed him.
In our second life, I learned his true identity. Shamelessly enough, I made sure to save him first. To spite me, my sister had the Little Beggar whipped. He was already weak and badly injured, so he did not survive.
In our third life, both of us had regained our memories, so neither of us saved anyone. To our surprise, the Little Beggar was rescued by another young woman instead, and he turned out to be a prince who had been lost among the common folk.
That girl and the prince became entangled in a torturous love affair…
That girl saw her entire clan wiped out…
That girl killed him with a hairpin before taking her own life…
Now, in our fourth life, my sister and I stare at one another.
My sister says, “Thank you, little sister, for saving my life.”
I reply, “And thank you, elder sister, for giving me a new life.”
My sister asks, “Shall we kill him one more time?”
I pause. “…That is not impossible.”
